Halfling Kitchen Crew

0-16 Halfling 30000 5 2 3 6 A
Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff
0-2 Pig Riders 70000 6 3 2 8 AS
Stunty, Really Stupid, Thick Skull, Break Tackle (Foul Appearance)
0-1 Master Chef 50000 5 2 3 7 AG
Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff, Leader
0-2 Meat Slicers 50000 5 2 3 6 A
Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff, (Claw/RSC/Dagger/Chainsaw)
0-2 Hot Pot 70000 3 3 3 8 P
Big Guy, TTM, (Strong Arm)
0-2 Chickenchasers 40000 5 2 3 6 A
Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff, Sprint, Diving Catch(Diving Tackle)

Re-roll counter: 60000 gold pieces each
Wizard: Yes (Halfling Chef)
Apothecary: Yes
Big Guys: None
Star Players: Sappe "Iron Chef" Butterbear

My first attempt at a Stunty team. I more or less have no experience in sunty, so please feel free to point out problems in the team.

I have some unclarified skill choices.
Pig Riders: FA? Due to their really bad smell...
Slicers: I need something to represent their meat cleavers. So either Claw/RSC/Dagger/Chainsaw or another. (Chainsaw might make them to much like Chaos Halflings)
Hot Pot: Does Big guy make it to weak? How does strong arm work on TTM?
Chickenchasers: Diving catch or Diving tackle? DC fluff wise IMO.

Fluff:
A halfling kitchen on the BB field. The Master Chef has taken up the challenge on the pitch, instead of just cooking for the inept players. And he brought with him some of his kitchens best. His meat Slicers with their big cleavers... Out to chop some meat. He brought the Kitchen pots and and attached them to big slingshots to hurl players toward the endzone. Even a couple of pigriders... Normally just riding the pigs to the butcher is a tough task... But now they take the field to pack some punch for the team. And he brought his kitchens fastest... The Chickenchasers... They run around in the chicken-yard all day... trying to catch the chickesn for the cooks.

NB: First go at making a team, so all constructive criticism is very welcome. And the rest we turn into a flamewar Very Happy
I have a feeling this team might be to weak. But please give some good feedback, and we might make them useable... or at least fun.

Ohhh...

0-1 Pie Wagon 100000 5 6 1 5 Ball & Chain S G

More or less as the Snotling Pump Wagon...

But a max. of one, or the Halflings wouldn't be able to concentrate on the Blood Bowl. Very Happy

I'm positive towards the idea. Would love to have a real halfling team around in stunty league and one obsessed with food feels a lot like going back to the original fluff for halflings from the pictures of the old edition LRB's Smile

Play tested them a little in stand alone vs. varouis teams unskilled teams. I gave them 3 re-rolls and a ff of 9.

Didn't get the chef to work properly. This will add more punch to them... So re-rolls should be expensive IMO...

What i found out:

Pie wagon was to fast and strong... So going from st 6 to st 5 and the ma from 5 to 4.

Hot pot was far to reliable both as a blocker and passer... Both the ball and TTM. And far to mobile... Therefore we reduce his ma, st and ag by one each.

The pigs were good fun. Getting a lot of 2d blocks vs. stunty players and and working like small bull centaurs for td's. Good fun... And a lot of ghi for the flings to keep up assisting their Really stupid rolls.

The Slicers I gave claw for these tests... Worked ok a little like the pygmy jaguar warriors. But I think i'll try them with Razor sharp claws in my next attempts...

And Chickenchasers er sweet... Good for TTM with their Sprint.

Roster now looks like this and more playtesting to come.

0-16 Halfling 30000 5 2 3 6 A Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff
0-2 Pig Riders 70000 6 3 2 8 A S Stunty, Really Stupid, Thick Skull, Break Tackle
0-1 Master Chef 50000 5 2 3 7 A G Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff, Leader
0-2 Meat Slicers 50000 5 2 3 6 A Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff, Razor Sharp Claws
0-2 Hot Pot 70000 2 2 2 8 P Big Guy, Throw Team Mate, Strong Arm
0-2 Chickenchasers 40000 5 2 3 6 A Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff, Sprint, Diving Catch
0-1 Pie Wagon 100000 4 5 1 5 Ball & Chain S G

Havn't changed any prices as I have no clue about those...

Please give some playtesting feedback if you try them...

They are good fun...

um..this isn't canon, cuz i can't remember off the top of my head, and i'm too lazy to check, but i thought that the B&C was a straight ST6, regardless of stats?

i thought it was hardcoded into the skill to be an ST6 action, or is it really drawn from the stat line?

No clue either... But could be.

And just tried RSC on slicers... Far less Stuns and KO's... But the injuries they made were well BLOODY.
So good for stunty IMO.

And nerfing the Hot Pot's worked out well... Far less reliable. Thinking of nerfing their armors aswell... But Hmm... Not yet.

I'll keep testing... They are quite fun but got beaten by the Skill- and trolless gobbo team Low Down Ratz... Embarassed

I'll try them out if I have the time! =)
Halfling chef would be nasty in stunty, I think and your list has a bit of everything, but playtest will tell if they are a bit too good Wink
