Howdy Folks,
Some of you may have noticed I haven't been as reliable as in seasons past.
I'd like to take this opportunity to ask for some forgiveness, and understanding.
I can't even claim to have any world-shattering or life-altering news. Things have just got a bit more hectic than I am used to, and a lot of stuff has piled up all at once. Add onto this my roller derby commitments, and it basically becomes a situation wherein bloodbowl falls down the priority list a fair whack - something that would have been a completely ridiculous concept to me a year or so ago.
There is some light at the end of the tunnel, however. I've been trying hard to restructure my new commitments, and thankfully some of those commitments will soon be at an end. So hopefully, from next season at the very latest, I should be more free to enjoy bloodbowl (and particularly SWL) again.
As for this season? Well, I'll still be getting my games in. I just ask for a little patience, and in return give you the assurance that the game WILL get played - eventually.
Anyways, to save any 'tl;dr' responses I'll wrap it up there. Thanks for your time!

dc has had to forfeit due to net issues, unfortunately, but I'm sure he'll be back in the saddle in no time. Personally I think it's a weak excuse he made up as soon as he started winning a few games this season - clearly the pressure got to him!
In other news, lolv finally had an opposing team show up. The respectable crowd who showed were clearly there to enjoy another 16 turns of Khemri shenanigans. It was something of a shock to bear witness to a Khemri win!
I'm still certain something fishy is going on, but for now we'll let it slide...
Finally, it seems the Axeman (that peerless example of adminry) has decided to officialise his 'weekly' news updates. The Axeman's Weekly (working title, subject to change) will feature highly specialised news articles regarding the previous weeks games, along with the occasional preview or prediction and some SWL Rule clarifications. If you believe you have a newsworthy item, you're probably wrong, so don't send it to the Axeman's office. Bother the Commish or something, he has plenty of time on his hands...

Some folks still seem a bit confused as to where they should look for information regarding the processes involved. As always, the SWL guide contains everything you need to know, but the SWL Website is also an EXCELLENT source of information. Some of you may wish to pay particular attention to the season schedule on the RIGHThand side of the website - this clearly displays the deadlines for each round... |
