is frenzy and juggernaught allowed in? |
Tripartite answer:
-It looks like Khemri will probably be allowed in a try-out side-league for slower teams.
-Frenzy and juggernaut are allowed in, but
-Crowdsurfing will probably only be allowed under very specific circumstances. |

Stalling voting options:
-Keep the rule as it is (must score if safely possible, just don't stall: vague)
Inducement voting options:
-Keep the rule as it is (no wizard, no stab, no piling on)
Scoring system voting options:
-In addition to current system, award cumulative TD difference as a bonus to the winner (so 1 for 1 pt difference, 3 for 2, 6 for 3)
Races allowed voting options:
-Create an experimental side-league for slower races, and allow teams from there to join R&P on a per-team basis
Limit guard voting options:
-Limit to # of guard per team (likely 4)
League structure voting options:
-Introduce scheduled seasonal league play (per-season sign-up, complementary to casual games)

Alright everyone, thanks a lot for your input. Voting is now closed.

-Disallow surfing (except BC or cage, hard definition)
(emilfrojd, cowhead, Rumanski)
-Allow all surfing
(bghandras, badgertheking)
Stalling voting options:
-Keep the rule as it is (must score if safely possible, just don't stall: vague)
(the Sage, emilfrojd, badgertheking, cowhead, KingKlutz, Dalfort, Rumanski, SkavenLordVinshqueek, Vesikannu)
-Remove the stalling rule but make halves last only 4 turns.
()
-Introduce mandatory punting if a team has the ball 4 turns without scoring.
(bghandras)
-Disallow rerolls on blocks.
()
-Disallow selecting the block skill.
()
-The ball must move 3 squares forward every turn.
()
Inducement voting options:
-Keep the rule as it is (no wizard, no stab, no piling on)

-Allow the wizard and allow stars who have optional hurting skills (but don't allow their use)
(the Sage, emilfrojd, KingKlutz, Dalfort, Rumanski, Vesikannu)
Scoring system voting options:
-Keep as is, TD against makes no matter, only total TD and w/d/l.
(bghandras)
-In addition to current system, award cumulative TD difference as a bonus to the winner (so 1 for 1 pt difference, 3 for 2, 6 for 3)
(the Sage, KingKlutz, Dalfort, badgertheking, SkavenLordVinshqueek, Vesikannu)
-Rugby rules: Winner bonus for 3+ difference, both bonus for 4+ total TDs, loser bonus for 1 TD difference against winners' 4+ TD
()
-Multiply TD and TD difference by w(3) /d(2) /l(1)
Races allowed voting options
This should have been two polls since allowing a few in and allowing the rest in a side-league aren't mutually exclusive:
-Keep the list as it is (rats, frogs, elves of all sorts, humans and zons)
()
-Allow a set of likely races (pact, underworld, lizardmen, (vampire?)) in.
(the Sage, emilfrojd, badgertheking, cowhaed, KingKlutz, Dalfort, Vesikannu)
-Create an experimental side-league for slower races, and allow teams from there to join R&P on a per-team basis
(badgertheking, the Sage, cowhead, KingKlutz, Dalfort, SkavenLordVinshqueek)
-Allow all races in
(Rumanski)
Limit guard voting options:
-Keep as is (no limit)
(badgertheking, Vesikannu)
-Limit to # of guard per team (likely 4)
(emilfrojd, SkavenLordVinshqueek)
Since so few people have an opinion and those who do are tied, I propose not to limit for now. If we encounter issues as a result of the changes we made, we can still adjust our course.
League structure voting options:
-Keep as is (casual games only)
()
-Introduce scheduled seasonal league play (per-season sign-up, complementary to casual games)
(the Sage, emilfrojd, cowhead, KingKlutz, Dalfort, Rumanski, SkavenLordVinshqueek, Vesikannu) |
I'm glad (and not surprised) to see we're unanimous on this issue.
Please send me a PM to sign up your teams for scheduled play. This season we'll feature two groups: one with max TV 1350, and the other uncapped. Feel free to join either one, the other, or both.
When applying for the TV1350 league, take note: any cash in your treasury that brings your TW over 1350 may not be spent during the season. This way we prevent people entering a low TV tourney and then buying players after the first match. |

A couple of questions before signing up
1. In regards to this ruling -Allow a set of likely races (pact, underworld, lizardmen, (vampire?)) in. What are the new teams allowed in?
2. What is happening in regards to the exerimental side league (Stroll and Pass)? |

1. Currently in are pact, underworld, lizardmen, vampire. Between mutations, speed and agility, these races should make an interesting addition to the current range of teams.
2. The introduction of the side league (btw: I approve of your name suggestion!) was KingKlutz' idea. I've asked him whether he'd like to organize it. His idea was that all other races will be allowed to sign up there and play eachother. Those individual teams (not races) that can prove to be able to play Rush and Pass style (by some arbitration of KKs devising) will be allowed to move to the main league. The logic is that this should allow the creation of teams in the spirit of the agility monsters, while preventing teams of dwarves with all guard-stand firm from entering the main league. |

Just as a question, because I'm interested...could you take Glart Smashrip against a wood elf team?
Claw isn't optional, but it is ineffective against them! |

You may not be surprised that this question came up before. Yes, it would be allowed (as vs amazons), unless the opponent picked +AV on one of their players. =) |
