We made it. Devils Revised won the UI Cup after a very exciting game (at least for me).
In the end AG5 made the difference.

From what I've seen of your last three matches Araushnar, that damn witch elf deals out punishment far in excess of what the Laws of Probability dictate she outta be able to do.

Devils Revised have been granted the gifts of the High Elves; however hard it was, and however many officials had to be forced (at knifepoint) to hand over the prizes.

What a finals match!!! Devils Revised grind the Atrapados team into the pitch and hang on for the win.
This was a very interesting match in the sense that not much really happened. Both teams for 16 turns pounded on each other, trying find a "hole" to take advantage of. Well the critical play of the first half. The Greenskins finally got their break and managed to knock the ball out and cover it with some TZ. But the Devils +AG was to much and they swoop in for the recovery and score.
Second half. Once again both teams are just plodding along, knocking each other over the head, looking for that opening. And then the Devils get a good shot at the ball, knock it out, swoop in and recover, heave the ball downfield on the defensive TO and that is match.
It was well played and interesting from a tactical point of view. But the greenskins could never get a man advantage, in fact the devils were pounding the greenskins most of the match. The fans did get involved in the second half as there was 3 surfs for the fans delight.
The controversy of this finals match will be the choice to bring Varg instead of a wizard and some babes/bribes. Hindsight is allways 20/20 but man that wizard could have turned this match easy.
IMO the lesson of the day is that a wizard trumps any star. Yes the Star player helps you out but that wizard can turn a match in a way that no star player can.
Congrats to the Devils. They kicked, MB, Frenzy, PO and out AG everyone and take the Major Trophy home. Tiempo needs to sulk home and lick their wounds. So close to victory and denied.
