More guard the better, you don't want mb on a player without block anyway, too much risk blocking with him for me.

You don't. You score with him until he has block (or piling on). Skilling a wood elf lino is easy as 3.14

So the guard dodge guy on 28 just gets a TD.

And yes, +MA on a dancer 6+4 roll is a no-brainer. The only question would be a third 6+4: normal skill or +AV. =D

Thanks for the input guys, I went with +MA as suggested.

Now the other brand new WD got 5,5 (jealousy I guess...)

+MA or MB? Again I'd go for speed but...I'd like to bounce it off you guys!

BTW, I can't seem to skill linemen...they die too fast! I've gotta acknowledge I'm not much of a picker, so I get roughened pretty bad some games...

maybe but I would never bother, mb is for dancers, guard for linos.

So with a 5,5 you suggest MB for a WD?

Yup as your team is missing mb.

5,5 is automatic mighty blow on a wardancer unless you already have it or really have a good reason to want +MA.

Of the 10 best wardancers ever on fumbbl, 7 had mighty blow. The others were Vindaloo, Garciiraider, and some guy's +MA +AG sure feet aberration. None of them had guard.

It took me almost a month since the quoted post and 53 games in total but...

My first legend EBAH Smile

I'm gearing the team for the Fumbble Cup (where I'll get crushed in my first game, but I'm all excited about participating), so I'm asking a bit of team management advice.

Players I'm trying to skill:

- Treeman (needs 1 sp): what skill should I get?
- Block Dodge Guard lineman (2 sp): skill?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

I forgot this guy skilled...what should I get? Kick?

Treeman: not much choices left...Break Tackle can be a nasty surprise for some coaches

Block Dodge Guard Elf: => SideStep

new guy: Kick, it is a very good skill for Woodelfs

Blodge=guard; first skill=mb . Blodge or dodge = movement (its usually down to how many specialists and guards you have) Linebuilt lineman (Blodge, SS (Fend)) = AV; block+mb+po = AV (want av8 on the ground) then you fill up with jump-up and dodge.

Smile

But that lineman choice was quite a way ago, right?

A nice catcher skilled Check him out

Its a regular skill and he already has the "basics" Catch
Dodge, Sprint,
Block, Sure Feet, +MA, Side Step

Fend? Pass Block? Jump Up? Leap?

Thanks for the help Smile
