Orcs are slow - they are almost as bad as dwarves, however they get 4x mv6 blitzers.

This makes them they key part of the team, tie them down. Without them orcs can't really do much but slowly cage.
You will find they are weak with deep kicks, because they generally can't cage quickly.

The best way to understand what makes them hurt, is to play them for a bit. They sure are powerful at low TV, so give it a shot.
Just yea, be careful they are slower than you would think.

The best way to beat Orcs is to CLPOMB them to death.
Use CLPOMB as often as possible and then use it again and again and again.
(I wish I was joking... but who needs tactics & strategy... get the combo.)

Woodelves with all positionals will win easiliy against orcs.

thats a pretty big over simplification really. For me Orcs in the hands of a top coach are the hardest race to beat. They have enough strength to make a typical grind against anyone (ignoring CPOMB) really straight forward, they can basically just walk their screen/cage forward in to tacklezones only giving away half dice blocks in the process, forcing opponents to dodge away or do risky 1 or half dice blocks.

Wood Elves do have the luxuary of leaping in to the cage to pop the ball free, but orcs have Sure hands and should have enough guard to make this extremely risky. Also because they have 4 block players in their starting roster they should have enough MB and tackle to make dodging really risky for elves and enough punch to hurt them.

On defence they have enough St to spread their team across the width of the field leaving 1 player back which means breaking through those ranks can be really tricky.

The other thing about orcs is - unlike other bash teams like Nurgle for example Orcs have a plan B and C, their players are fairly agile, their Ma isnt actually bad with 4 Ma6 players, they have a player with Pass for emergencies, and even if things don't go to plan they have a TTM attempt.

Obviously the wood elves still stand a pretty good chance at winning as they are also one of the best teams in the game, but Orcs is certainly no simple task.
