I suggest you to not play skaven at all. If there is something you'll never lack, it's injuried players... you'll have plenty of them. Being forced to play with an AG3 gutter, an ST2 bliyzer and a couple of niggled lines, every other match, putting them on the LOS hoping they die, it's not amazing

It's awesome seeing just how hosed some teams get and developing your gameplan around hurting weak links on the pitch. |

3 runners can work, but I'm assuming that you're going to be using a thrower on offense then. You want to have as many GRs acting as threats as possible.
Also, cannot fire injuries sounds like it heavily favors all AV8+ teams and those with regen. Basically, everything Skaven isn't, lol. |

It's a radical house rule, but no one is forced to play.
For those who want to embrace that particular challenge, it's a unique opportunity. Like the APE League - if you don't want to play Simyins, don't join and no reason to hate, just that simple.
And, in fact, as one of the few ClawPoMB-capable races, Rats have that as a distinct advantage, once developed(!).
(Also, if you try, AV 7 players can be killed off faster than a gimped dwarf.) |
