Hold on.
Lets look at this from a different perspective.
TV of a Assassin is 90
TV of a low down Lino is 70
For that 20 TV you get STAB and shadowing but lose 1AV.
IF all Darkelf linos had Stab and AV7 at 80TV would you think it is a rubbish line up? |

This alludes to the other main reason why assassins have such poor uptake. If they use their main calling card, Stab:
a) If they fail, they get hurt; and
b) They get NO SPPs if they succeed.

Even for the same 70k price i would like better my lino to get AV8 instead of AV7+stab+shadowing.
And even if i can could mix regular 70k AV8 lino with 70k AV7+stab+shadow lino, i would not take more than 1 of the last one.
That just how bad assassins are for everyone, it's more than a minmax problem and just bad design.
If only they were 7/3/4/7 dodge,stab,shadow for 110k at least they would add something to the roster and be a decent (but still inferior IMO) alternative.
So sad for a "signature player". |
