SPLATTR is an Underworld Goblin only league, played using an open round robin format.
The first season is currently in progress and will finish on the 30th June.
If you are interested in registering for season 2 then please register your interest here.
This thread is dedicated to splat talk between coaches and is also where the end of season awards will be given out.
This season the 18 teams are competing for:
 Winners of the end of season play off
 Runners Up in the end of season play off
 The team which finishes last in the league

And finally, arguably the most prestigious award:
The "Dunk", awarded in memory of Daredevil Dunk, a goblin who truly embodied the spirit of SPLATTR and who left us too soon.
His team coach, Zhraia, wrote some words on his passing:
"Remember, remember!
The fall of our hero,
The slimy treason and plot;
I know of no reason
Why the killing block
Should ever be forgot!
jdmickleburgh and his companions
Did the scheme contrive,
To block the great Dunk
Onto his death.
Threescore goblins, laid below,
To proud old Dunk overthrow.
But, by Nuffles's providence, him they will catch,
With a dark lantern, lighting a match!
A block and a boot
For Daredevil Dunk's sake!
If you won't give me one,
I'll foul two,
The better for me,
And the worse for you.
A boot, a boot, to foul the staff,
A fistfull of McMurty's to choke him,
A pint of Bloodweiser to wash it down,
And a jolly good fire to burn him.

Hip, hip, hooor-r-r-ray!"
Unlike other awards, which are objective in who they are awarded to, the Dunk is entirely subjective and is awarded by Zhraia to the player who he feels embodies the spirit of Dunk. The winner of the Dunk also gets to keep the famous kilt worn by Dunk for the entirety of the next season. |

The aspects we are looking for in nominees when awarding the Dunk award are as follows:
-Invoking fear and mayhem
-Having a catch phrase, bonus points for involving Dunk, fear or violence
-Horns
-Bonus strength
And most importantly: avenging Dunk and slaying Smollslopt, or players belonging to the Desolate Cowls in general. |

For consideration of the Dunk, I offer up a Deathrow Inmate, who has nothing better to do in his free time then work out. His skill progression, at the moment, will likely see horns and a tail with his next teo rolls (barring anything more fun, like doubles).
He's known for yelling his catchphrase "I gots nuttin ta lose!" as he does everything he can to add to his list of crimes, that lead to his incarceration.
His list of criminal activity includes, murder, treason, assassination, theft, embezzlement (he's even stolen from his current team), and corrupting the corrupted even further.
Also, want to give special commendation to Sacrificial Lamb who blatantly fouled Ruffer in the team's second match to secure the win. |
