Mondays, Tuesday, and Wednesdays are deadlines for the NA leagues. Its hard to get games on there after say 8pm East Coaster time. The other 4 days are rivalling the epic adventures of Ghengis Khaun. |

Perhaps they Christer should limit the draw to every half hour on off peak hours. I don't know if that would help or hurt. Maybe that's not simple to implement anyway. |

I doubt it would help. The NA evening/night timezone has a multitude of issues for why people might not activate aside from the low coach count (relative to Europe), but inside the cadre of coaches who activate on a (semi-)regular basis are also coaches who are quite happy to go play in ranked instead.
There's also enough people who miss a box draw by 10s-1min, but then hang around for the next. If you make the draw half-hourly, that becomes less appealing, and it also becomes easier for people to miss consecutive draws because their attention is elsewhere. |
