Many thanks to all the guys that made the time slot tonight, for the Premiership 3-way.

Congratulations to Pythrr too. It's a shame that on our swan song we were perhaps at our worst yet this season. Sad

To add insult to injury, the Duke is also numero uno on the MVP stat... though he has played two games more than many this season, pythrr yet again tipping the balance his way. Razz

Yes, grats to pythrr... who says that Orcs have a disadvantage since the rules change??...

Well played to Vampy who refused to go out without a fight. Had pythrr lost his match I would have been kicking myself though, as Gordreg finished strongly for 2nd place.

Despite losing some handy Bull Centaurs, along the way, we remained undefeated this season, and I think I can be proud of that! I think next season will be even tougher though!

Congrats to pythrr, supreme overlord of OBBA. Was hard work trying to keep up with watching 3 matches but what an end to the season. It was close at the end going for 2nd and Gordreg has secured it on CAS difference in the end if I'm right. Wotfudboy lost out in the end on a last turn GFI into the endzone that would have made the difference.

Thanks for the spectacle everyone

Yar, well done everyone. This prem season was huge funs, and the final evening was mucho amusing. We should do this more often.

Also grats to Mercutio for being guest commentary in the OBBA channel for the evening. Much appreciated.

Right, now - to the CUPS! (and the final few league games).

First of all, congrats to the Coaches of the Premiership, for one of the tightest and most exciting title chases in recent seasons. All the more so cos I won, but no more of that....

The final top 3 standings were

Bristol Reavers 20 pts
Arden Villa 19 pts
Watford Hornhits 19 pts
(and Borussia ended in 4th on 14pts, but were still in with an outside chance going into the final round).

---

The Championship has one round to play, and Charlton need a win to wrap up the title. However, with second placed Nut and Bolts looking at a likely forfeit win vs the absent Brizzle City, Charlton can\'t afford to slip up here. Still lots to play for for the midranked Championship teams, as there will be quite a few promotion places this season with a number of Prem teams dropping out next season - excitings!

---

In the Cup prelim rounds, still lots of games to be played.

Deadline for Round 9 and for Cup Prelims is the 20th July!

The main cup draw will take place on the 21st July!

FORZA OBBA!

Oh, and remember. Those knocked out in the prelim round go into the OBBA League cup groups! Much fun to be had there!

I'm looking forward to a nice gentle run in the league cup as I fully expect to have my lowly Underworld team taken apart by phil78's FurryBoots City later tonight Confused

Oh, don't feel bad boss... Cups are the time when any traction my team may have gained is violently and excessively stolen.

Killmaul vs Fulham Fury

Turn 2 ... Goblin takes out the Chaos chainsaw player (1)

Turn 4 ... Goblin recovers a bad position and takes the ball down field

Turn 6 ... Goblin scores

Turn 11 ... Goblin injures a Minotaur (double skulled)

Turns 13 - 16 ... Goblin pulls faces at the Fulham team

Final result Fulham 0 ... Goblin 1 ...

Oh and the Goblin had some help, but not much.

Another inspired performance from Fashanu the Goblin. Chants of Awooga can still be heard ringing throughout the east end of the Isle of Dogs. Fashanu's performance was reminiscent of Gladiators of old, and the fans have taken to singing to him throughout all Killmauls games -

Do you feel the power of the Gladiator?
Can you face the challenge of the champions?
Do you have the courage of a hero?
Do you have the will and the skill?

Do you have the speed, the strength, the heart to be a winner? It's not for beginners.
Deep down in your soul.

Are you a Gladiator?

Gotta move like a streetwise fighter.
Gotta face the fire of the tiger.
Gotta give your all to win.
Ready or not, let the challenge begin.

Can you match the strength of the Gladiator?
Do you have the fire within you?
Do you have the heart of a lion?
Do you have the power in your soul?

Now it's time to race, it's face-to-face, get on the track now.
There's no turning back now. Your future's on the line.

Are you a Gladiator?

Gotta move with lightning speed.
Feel the strength for what you need.
Gotta take it on the chin.
Gotta love it, love to fight and win.

Do you feel the power of the Gladiator?
Can you face the challenge of the champions?
Show the stuff you're made of. Can you seal the fate of the Gladiator?

Can you challenge the Gladiator? Will you take on the Gladiator? Will you be the new champion?

The Gladiator

Congrats to Garion for beating up those poor defenceless rookies Laughing

As for Fulham Fury, see you in the League Cup.

Can I just confirm whether I need a win or a draw to win the title?

At the moment, if Charlton gained 1 point in the final game, we'd be tied on points with Nuts and Bolts. Our TD difference appears worse, but we've "won" two forfeited games, while N'n'B have won one. Each forfeit win counts as a 2TD win, right? With that taken into account, our TD difference would be better, which means we'd win on TD difference?

Is that right, or have I missed something?

Mind you, knowing you "only" need a draw is a dangerous state of mind...

There's a couple of players tailing the Duke, with games to be played.
Stephen Carr from Burningham being the most likely to succeed.

Ariel Harush being the other with 15 cas and counting (2 in the current match which was interrupted due to women and connection problems...)

Gratz Pythrr! Well played
Arden Villa came close... and with a staggering 40 cas in the season, it's a team most likely to cause havoc in the Cup as well as next season

Looks like you are right on the money gjopie. A draw would give you the title as you currently have the better TD difference with the forfeits taken into account.
