I have had two Fumbbl outages cut off games before they could be completed.
The other coaches and I have traded IMs back and forth trying to reschedule with no success.
Is the FAQ entry for cancellations correct? Twice I have logged into the #FumbblAdmin and left a message about cancelling the games but I have not received a reply.
This is *not* a complaint. The admins have real lives and games of their own to play. I just want to know if I missed a step.
Cheers. |

Invite an Admin to your PM conversation and ask for a cancel. If you've waited the requisite period, they'll make it so. A la Jean Luc Picard. |

Admins generally don't act on left messages in #fumbbladmin. 1. We need to clarify matters with you. 2. Sometimes the details change. So if you do it, unless they're clear cut they won't be actioned.
Do not do what randymoss suggests either, unless this is requested by an admin.
I suggest having a read of Woodstock's blog. The correct protocol is thus:
Go to fumbbladmin and state your problem.
Wait as long as you are willing to keep watching the irc channel.
Once it is obvious there is nobody there to answer your question, fill in a fumbbl support ticket.
These will be actioned when an admin becomes available.

Thanks for the responses. I have sent a support ticket.
Apologies for the duplicate post, can a forum admin delete it? |

And by waiting as long as you are willing he means wait at most 5-10 minutes if no one replies. |

I think these advice SPACE threads are really neat and should MARINES be encouraged for all new members of fumbbl. |
