This is the thread for everything relating to SLAM Group 2, which consists of:
1 cameronhawkins - Sherwood Forest Goblins (Forest Goblins) : 21 points, 17 TDs, 2 RIPs
2 Duder - Eldritch Abominations (Horrors of Tzeentch) : 11 points, 9 TDs, 3 RIPs
3 Ryld - Stunty Busters (Squigs) : 15 points, 9 TDs, 7 RIPs
4 TheSyron - Snotling Rovers (Snotlings) : 7 point, 5 TDs, 2 RIPs
5 Dalfort - Gnome is where the Blood is (Gnomes) : 3 points, 4 TDs, 1 RIP
Schedule:
Round 1: 1 vs 2 (1-0), 3 vs 4 (0-0)
Round 2: 1 vs 5 (3-1), 2 vs 3 (1-1)
Round 3: 1 vs 4 (2-0), 2 vs 5 (3-0)
Round 4: 1 vs 3 (2-0), 4 vs 5 (0-1)
Round 5: 2 vs 4 (2-1), 3 vs 5 (2-1)
Round 6: 1 vs 2 (3-0), 3 vs 4 (1-0)
Round 7: 1 vs 5 (3-1), 2 vs 3 (1-1)
Round 8: 1 vs 4 (2-0), 2 vs 5 (2-0)
Round 9: 1 vs 3 (1-2), 4 vs 5 (3-0)
Round 10: 2 vs 4 (0-1), 3 vs 5 (2-0)
As there are 5 teams per group, there will be 1 team each round who doesn't play. But, with a 1 week deadline, this shouldn't mean too long a wait for anyone. And feel free to play ahead. |

The Sherwood Forest Goblins beat out my Eldritch Abominations 1-0 in a hard fought match. It was a vicious game with fireballs flying in the faces of the spear wielding gobos and spiders, but the goblins sprang out of the flames ball in hand, running in a turn 16 touchdown. The excellent coaching of cameronhawkins gave the Sherwood Forest Goblins a season opening win and made for a fun and exciting match. Thanks for the great game  |

The Eldritch Abominations manage a 1-1 tie against the Stunty Busters. Seraph, one of the Abominations' flamers was left dead on the field. Ryld coached a brutal game with his squigs, but unfortunately for the Stunty Busters the horrors regenerated their crippling wounds taken in the first half and were back in the second half looking for vengeance. |

OK, late developing news: the Gnome is dead, long live the Gnome! Er, well, no, no-one's dead; what I'm trying to say is, unfortunately, we've had a switch of coaches. So welcome to the new team, Dalfort's Gnome is where the Blood is. |

Our second game (third round) was pretty much a disaster. Ended 0-2 for the Sherwood Forest Goblins Almost got that third troll though, hope things get better after that. |
