While the cold weather has only delayed the inevitable, it will never stop the impending chaos of the Exploding Cup! Beginning April 2nd, the Exploding Cup will bring a new chapter in exploding carnage to FUMBBL.
This tournament is for rookie [S]tunty teams only.
The Exploding Cup is for Rookie stunty teams only. That means all applicant teams must be brand new to the league, and have zero matches played. This year's tournament will be a Swiss qualifier, leading into a knockout bracket for the Finals. Qualifiers will consist of 8-team brackets, and will have a minimum of 8 brackets. All entrants will be accepted into the tournament, provided they are rookie teams.
The finals will consist of the first place winner for each bracket. Additionally, since the possibility of an uneven number of brackets is possible, second place teams will have a chance to win a spot in the final bracket, to ensure an even amount of teams into the finals.
Please check the Qualifier page and the Main Tournament page for more details.
Please note, all applicants must apply to the qualifiers. Only first and second place teams should be applying to the main tournament page, and only at the end of the qualifying window.

I asked this on the news item but it's likely more visible here. Will the 12 team brackets last year there was a 4 round Swiss. Will the 8 team brackets also have a 4 round Swiss or will it be 3 rounds? In other words, if I apply I'm committing to a game a week for 4 weeks. |

I'm in for more fun.
I really hope this time that fairish games are easier to get off the back of the tournament and I can get a toe hold in the division. Just felt impregnable last year unless you were willing to put lots and lots of work in? Just me?

Once you realize there are really no fair games in Stunty, due to the inherent weaknesses on every team, it is a lot easier to take.
