I'd say take it, he becomes a lot more versatile and can be used as the main ball carrier.

Also there are not that many great normal skills for Ogres. Finally it makes him a more interesting player as you might get another stat or doubles on his next skill.

Yes. You want an ogre to carry the ball as often as possible.

Take it! If you would care about TV you would not play ogre's, wouldn't you?
P.S. A str5 ag3 ball carrier is hard to counter.

this ^^

+Ag on the big guy of a team is rarely even worth considering.

+Ag on a team of big guys makes him by far the best player you have.

Do it. Allways AG on an Ogre team. Followed by Break Tackle.

Remember, Morg is a +AG+ST+MA ogre. If you want Morg on your team, you need to take the +AG. Wink

Ogre skill path imo:

Piling On, Guard, Break Tackle, Stand firm or grab
All stats (+ma preferred to +av)
Block and Tackle on doubles

On Ogre teams, you should ALWAYS take +AG. This gives you more reliability with ball handling. You should always be carrying the ball with an Ogre if you can help it. Snotlings are just SO easy to knock down. An Ogre with the ball, however, either means the enemy will either have to commit multiple players. Barring a Minotaur, Treeman, or a Deathroller, they will have to commit two players to get a favorable block with their own Big Guy/dauntless player, three to hit you with a strength four, or four to hit you with a strength three.

Unless they have strip ball, your Ogre is going to most likely be keeping that ball if they have to throw two red dice.

Next level up, give him break tackle so he's not held up by a lineman. Later in life, assuming Nuffle doesn't bless you with a doubles for sure hands, Strong arm makes that Ogre a minor passing threat, be it passing the ball to a catch equipped snotling, or throwing a snotling with a ball for a one turn attempt. It can be useful in a very desperate situation, although I still wouldn't expect any consistent performance.

And think about it how much fun will it be to throw snotlings with him! Smile

When you play ogres, you shouldn't care so much about competitiveness.

Ag makes no difference to throw team mate.

But yes always take +ag on at least one ogre , an ogre ball carrier is a great thing and it almost gives you a chance of getting some wins. Though probably not because they are so terrible.
