It might be, if you don't have ST access and already took Tackle.

You've got that Wood Elf team well contained and down to three players, one of them stunned. Yet somehow that Wardancer managed to snatch the ball and make a dash into scoring position. Luckily you have your safety in the back, and he has Strip Ball! Or does he?

The point here is more about having a Sure Hands ball carrier, isn't it?

it depends which bash teams you mean, but on the whole i would say yes, if you can remove the oppositions sure hands player from the pitch and you have a mobile strip ball player in your team then you stand a great chance of winning.

I consider SB ability as one of the absolute key features of any team. So of course I'd want it on any team.

However the player type who posseses that skill should posess some cage breaking ability, ie be ideally fast, agile, have a leap ability or something similar.

So the point in the game where to take Strip Ball on a bash team might be much later or never compared to more agile races.

Still it should be an ultimative goal to have one.

My ideal dwarf team has one ball-carrying runner and one with Wrestle + Strip Ball... maybe even a second Strip Ball on a slayer. So yes, I would aim for a player with Strip Ball on every team, and be it only for the threat.

Teammates who can get into contact with every player in the cage the turn before, with guard, stand firm, sidestep, jumpup, and/or fend, also count as cage-breaking ability imo. You don't need to break it WITH the stripper, so long as you break it with the TEAM.

Any team benefits from a Wrestle/Stripball/Tackler. Some teams they are harder to build than others. I would not just add Stripball to some blitzer with MB. It is more of a dedicated sacker skill. For many teams I will go Wrestle-->Tackle-->Stripball as the progression...as I think wrestle/tackle is key. Stripball just adds to the value of the player.

No point at all in strip ball on a non ag team imo.

I struggle to find a place for it on any Khemri team.

But Setekh surprises the heck out of people Smile

I like one on orcs and humans on a blitzer as a safety. But only after MB and Tackle. I'd put it on a +ma player for sure. Problem with strip ball vs elves is not so much the sure hands as they don't tend to have it, but the fact that they just dodge out, pick up the ball again and score. That's why MB+Tackle is more important to get first imo.

Wrestle Tackle Strip ball is nice, but on something that starts with block - Juggernaut+SB is fun as well. It should work on Strenght teams also, just put it on something with decent movement.

Intersting results! Didn't expect the poll to come out like that at all. Did expect Jimmy's reply though. Very Happy
