This got me thinking. Who are the best blitzers in the game? In no order:

Taking the Human Blitzer as a base:

Dark Elves and High Elves - add +AG and A access, lose STR access for a 10k increase

Wights - minus MA but add regen for same cost

Slann - Lose Block but add DT, JU, VLL and Leap plus A access for 20k

Norse - lose an MA and AV but add Frenzy and JU for same cost

Orc - lose MA and gain AV for a 10k saving

Dwarf - lose 2 MA, gain AV, 10k cheaper

Pro Elf - Gain Ag and A access and SS, lose STR access, for 20k more

Pestigor - lose MA, gain Regen, Rot, Horns and M access for 10k saving

Blitz Ra - lose MA, gain regen, same cost

Skaven - gain M access on doubles for same cost

Amazon - lose MA and AV but gain dodge, same cost

Wardancers, Beastmen, Saurus, Wolves and Witches not included, I wouldn't class them as Blitzers (since DE and Necro have blitzers, Beastmen and Saurus aren't positionals and Wardancers are just the best player, full stop).

Now here's how I think the Poll should end up:

1. Slann
20k for net +3 skills and A access? I'll take all 4 on my roster. All skills work in synergy? Even better

2. Underworld
Fast and Deadly, M access on normals

3. Pestigor
A little bit slower but with a much bigger hit and for cheap? Yep, gimme some M

4. Skaven
Same cost and partial M access makes them a touch better than the average hume

5. Human
You are correct Jack, they are good

6. Pro Elf
Just pips DE and HE 'cos of SS for 10k, bargain

7. Dark Elf and High Elf
Yeah mobility is good but you don't hit as hard and you cost more; this is about Blitzing

8. Orc
Hasn't got the range, but +av makes PO safer, and you is cheap

9. Norse
You are so cool, you probs do extreme sports in your spare time, but you are slow and soft, and frenzeh teh hard mode

10. Wights
You only live once (right?), and i'd rather you were faster

11. Amazon
Slower, softer, but better than last place, 'cos of dodge and ma6 is huge vs MA5

12. Blitz Ra
Ag2 sucks, you clumsy Wight

13. Dorf
Y U SO SLOW AND BORING
troll slayer is your blitzer anyway

edited after comments. Poll should include underworld and split Undeads into Wight and Blitz Ra

I went for Amazon. Blodge from the start is huge, and a Blodging Guard at just 6 SPPs is amazing.

I think the Undeads should be Split, the Wight still has AG 3 whilst the Blitz-Ra loses a point (AG 2) it can be significant.

Also from a personal view point, Regen is a life saver (pun intended!) as I tend to lose so many players as it is.

Depends what state of development. Elves are fantastic Early because they are AV8 and one normals away from dodge for a decent price. Skaven are similarly good as are wights. Slaan don't get good until they have about 3 skills, then they are great.

Underworld should be on there. They are just Skaven with normal M access which is arguably the best. Normal GSM access with starting Block is amazing.

Good point, I forgot that. Move Blitz Ra down below Amazon, he is terible, but not as bad as dorf, obvs

Slann are definitely not #1. The access is great, but actually building one and keeping him alive? And the choices you have to make relative to the rest of your team to support more than 2 of them? In the end, even a great Slann Blitzer still has to deal with being on a Slann team.
