Whilst our legendary Commissioner is off fighting a new evil called "Work" in the lands of "Real life" a new season of the Human League has already started.

Ten days into the new season and we only have 7 teams that have managed to scrape together 4 games at conference or premiership level.

I'm sure plenty of human coaches are still celebrating the result from the inaugural F.U.B.A.R. Cup, where our season 6 Conference Champions, the Hacienda Heights Drifters took home the glory for all of humanity.

Well friends, that was last week. Yeah, maybe some teams have peaked and are waiting for the upcoming Crown of Sand, but rest of us need to sober up and get boxing! I know the box is dark and full of French-Canadians, but we must prevail. Sprint for humanity, sprint for our absent Commissioner! Sprint!

Redwood will set sail for the untold depths of the box, and raise many victories and Cpomber skulls in the name of our Commisioner and the HLP pride!

The 29th season is just underway, and the first sprints are starting to fill in, mostly on conference level however. Time to take up the gauntlet and get those humans nice and fat again for the premiership, coaches!

In other HLP news, former premiership winners the Bayernhof Bengals have been spotted showing off their skills again.

As of now it is yet unknown if they will sprint - but if they do, it is a fine chance for up and coming human teams to test their mettle versus one of the greats!

We have reached the half way point of the season with another month to run.

In the Premiership we are yet to have a sprint completed, however the Challenged Contenders have had a cracker of a start with a 8/0/2 record after ten games. Can the other premiership players string together enough wins to be competitive if Timetis' team stops being Contenders and start being Challenged?

At the Conference level we have two sprints completed, with the Sartosa Sabres setting the pace, but plenty of time remains for there to be significant changes to the leader board.

Over in the Crown of Sand we are one more Khemri elimination from ensuring Human representation in the finals. Go Humans!

A little inspiration for the Buccaneers B Side and all other human teams entering the Carnage Cup.

It has just been announced that the next XFL will feature... humans!

Apply your blackbox teams, let's see if we can take the win for the box humans!

In the premiership my Challenged Contenders are still in the number 1 position, hoping to achieve their first sprint win after almost 300 matches.

But there's only been 4 completed sprints so far, so a new challenger could still arise!

In the conferences it's still the Sartose Sabres in the number 1 spot, with 4 finished sprints, but this competition seems a bit more open - if some of the 13 game teams finish their sprint we may yet see a take-over!

Dust those humans off, and garner yourself some glory!

Season 29 is all but over, and we have some exciting news from the majors; none other than the Sons of Brutus have reached the finals of the tournament?

Will we see the first Major win for the HLP? I'm rooting for it.

Well the team has held up well, but their coach was suffering major nerves in the semi final and its only going to be 10 times worse for a final.

The more immediate question is do we need a new name for a different kind of double?

I thought that when I saw Timetis topping both with different teams.

How about...Double and Split Double to differentiate between the both?

Well the Blood Sea Buccaneers B side crew achieved their best results ever. Finished off our 2nd Premier sprint for the Slobber Knocker, fell one short of finishing the conference sprint.

Then got beat down and beat up in the carnage cup, lost in the ARR box brawl to some stupid elf team who elf balled us off the pitch.

Finished out our second season of back to back Top CAS producing team in either/or Premier and Conference play.

It was a very interesting season for the Bucs.

Timetis in the Conference we have the same score but you're team Average Mediocrity didn't complete the sprint...

I guess Humain du Barthas can claim the first place for their first season..?

Yeah, Split Double would do it nicely. And sorry tykoonfranky, the Average take home the title as the tie breaker used is average TV, not number of games played. We will have the awards published in the next day or so.

Also worth noting that while Koadah is still absent the new sprint information won't be available for the Apr/May season 30 sprint for a while. He has some manual input for each season. Still any games from the 1st of April will count but we may have a period of time where we are all building our sprints in secrecy.
