Hi all!

Is there any way with bbcode for our group pages you can have text as an overlay in front of an image? I want to replace those standard TOGGLES - but I can't find a way to have a blank standard image and put some text in front of it within bbcode. (I don't want to do an individual graphic for every single button that already includes the text - that's just a lot of work if your group page changes from time to time...)

cheers,
b4nshee

Yeah you can have a background image by telling the block that the image size is 0px.

So for one of my teams I have a background scroll image with centred text over the top.

You can put anything you want over the top like other images or buttons but I have not worked out how (if it is even possible) to have a table grid show over the top, however the text shows up fine.

[block=floatleft][block=automargin width=0px][img]/i/482048[/img][/block]
[block=automargin width=75%]
TEXT Or OTHER STUFF
[/block]

Are you sure that works? I put your code in a note to test it and the text is shown BELOW the image...

example

Ahhhh - got it to work. Here's the code:

[block=floatcontainer][block=floatleft width=0px][img]/i/478900[/img][/block]TEXT Or OTHER STUFF
[/block][/block]

Thank you a lot for pointing me in the right direction! Very Happy

Interesting. I remember another very recent recent post where was stated that this exact thing isn't possible.

You also can do it with an image on another one. For example these toggles: https://fumbbl.com/p/team?team_id=809451
Useful when you want to change some toggles several times and want a text with special effects.

Hi,

These links are not opening for some odd reason. I don't know if it is because I am running an old flash player or due to my slow Internet speed.

Hi, looking at you posting in the completely wrong place and looking at your coach profile I can only presume that you are talking about starting a game?
The client is Java based. Flash is not required nor used on the site.
Some features such as the gamefinder require HTML5, which requires a browser that isn't 10 years old.

In order to start a game you need to create a team first.
For that click the 'create a new team' button.

If you wish to test if your computer works and supports the client, click on games->current games and then choose a random game and click on spectators.
Now you should be able to watch somebody elses game as a spectator.
If it works you should be also able to play games yourself.
