Today, we had a slight hiccup and loss of service for the IRC and FFB Game servers running on the site.

This was caused by a failing NIC (network card). I do not have spare NICs at this point (I probably should though), but I will be buying a replacement within a day or two.

For now, I've routed the IRC and FFB data through another NIC on the machine so things should be back in working order for the time being. When I get my hands on a replacement NIC, I will be announcing a scheduled maintenance downtime to do the replacement.
