Alion leaned on his cane. The old elf had a shattered kneecap, a legacy of one too many games bringing the Chaos offenses to a halt.
Sighing, he stepped into the training pitch in front of a young <a href='https://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=605803'>Agility Monster</a>, waiting for the dwarf to set himself.
*THWACK*
Smacking the cane down between his eyes, Alion bellowed "That's not a dodge! Call that a dodge? If that was a claw, you'd have no head! Now SIDESTEP!"
He limped off, not waiting for the dwarf to uncross his eyes and pick himself up. The dwarf maiden was lying flat on the ground. Leaning down gingerly, he patted her on the shoulder. "Unlucky lass. You almost got the hang of diving now...just remember to dive at the kneecaps, not past em. All that armour will hurt though when you hit them!"
It might not be like training elves, but at least they wanted to have a go. Far better to train some hard working dwarves that knew how to work than another elven noble wanting to impress his lady....
