I love the new game list page. It's pretty, and it makes finding games to watch a lot easier.

One thing I did find slightly annoying though was trying to find good games. See, what I love watching is games where a good coach plays another good coach.

At first, I used the Buddy List, and 'buddied' a lot of coaches I enjoyed speccing. The problem is, I really couldn't care less about watching Purplechest smash some hapless newb in the Box into non-existence (though it is funny when it's a minmaxing newb getting smashed).

What I want, is some hot Legend on Legend action (unless one of them is Lizvis...)

I'm also a nerd, and I've been wanting to play with Chrome Extensions for a while. So, I took a couple of hours and wrote a quick extension to highlight the games list ranks from red to green.

You can find it HERE. Just press "Install" (assuming you use Chrome!), and then navigate to your games page to see. Do check out the screenshot first, as it shows you what your game page will look like.



I also open-sourced it...turns out extensions are ridiculously easy to write (just HTML and JS), and for those of you interested, the files are here.

Finally, this is only my extension. I haven't any access to FUMBBL source code, and while I'll try and keep this extension up to date, if Christer changes the page design (as of course he is more than welcome and encouraged) to do, it'll probably break. If you install it and you don't like it, just type "chrome://extensions/" into your URL bar, and you can uninstall it from there.
