How much is too much?

Omg, this site is SO addictive ... I just checked to find that I've played 48 games in January. That's more games than I've had hot dinners this month!!

Aaaaaarrghh!! What's happening to me?! Is there a Fumbbl rehab? Is there any cure? Has anyone ever gotten out alive?? :O

I just wanna play more and more and more and more and win and lose and score TDs and see my teams grow ... :D And even when I'm not playing I can't stop reading the forums and speccing other people's games, etc.

Earlier on I was like:

"ok, now I need to go to the gym ... "

"... but i'll go after I've played another Blackbox game ..."

and then later:

"ok, now I need to go and get some groceries and do some other boring stuff ..."

"... but I'll have one more game with my High Elves first ..."

and here I still am ... another 'Fumbbl' weekend :D

Do you ever just sit there for ages compulsively pressing 'refresh' on your homepage, hoping that someone's written some funny new blog or forum thread to read? (basically, I was bored of pressing 'refresh', so I thought I'd write a random blog to give you all something to read instead).

Please rate generously. Did you know: that your average dice roll for your next game will be exactly the same as your rating for this blog? And if you don't rate then Nuffle won't be happy ... :/

You know Jelly, I really feel you.. though I tend to watch more games than I play.. with all the majors going on its really getting addicting.

Q. How much is too much?...
A. It's too much when you have to ask. :)

Been there, done that. It´s gonna pass, at least it did for me. I still like to play a game every now and then but my addiction was (luckily) only temporary. If you play too much for an extended period there will come a time when you just don´t want to play. Even Emphasy isn´t playing 5 games a day anymore :D

I haven't got quite enough time for it, but I am checking more than I should. Heck, I read this blog on my mobile phone... ;)

no rehab for you!

When I'm on break from school, I play waaaaaay too much Blood Bowl. Now that school has started back up, I'll be playing a lot less. Luckily I've got the new 7s season to work on, so I don't have to set aside 1-1.5 hours.

Your reaction is quite common among the users of this site. I go through phases myself. All I can say is this: Nuffle will let you know when it's time for a break by 'blessing' your dice so that everything you do fails and everything your opponent does succeeds. That's a good time for a break.

I rated this a 6, now I expect my dice to improve :)

Gifv goooood dice plx. (rated 6 for excellence)

Hmm looks like I risk facing an opponent with similarly excellent dice to my own in the next game. What can I do about this?
Posted by JellyBelly on 2010-02-01 20:59:18
Well ... you can't rate twice, so ... play more riskier and downright insane moves, because they'll all work and then you'll win.

Longbombing mummies ftw!! ;)

Nuffle's blessings ...
