The Mighty Mootlings
The Mighty Mootlings

About 2 months ago Little Jojo, a Halfling baker from Brandenberry, decided to prove to the other Empire Provinces that Halflings could one day have a professional BloodBowl team.

After making a small fortune selling delightful bakery products, The Mighty Mootlings were formed. Jojo knew the only place he would truly show how good his team would be is the legendary Black Box League.

After 30 matches it seemed like a good opportunity to look at how the Mootlings have done so far:

Match Records

13 wins / 7 draws / 10 losses

Not bad for the little fellas so far.

Our Players

In 30 games we have had alot of roster changes.

There have been 32 dead/retired Halflings but we still have our original trees!

So that is on average 1.07 players retired/killed per match.

Strangely there have been 2 players that were retired with 0spp and no injuries!

Now its time to get back in the box and win more games!

If you are interested in playing stunty in the box (and my Halflings have inspired you) you should check out the ARR group and get involved with all the great coaches there.

(PS if anyone has any ideas for what to add to the shop section of the team bio let me know - thankyou to everyone that allowed me to use their logos.)

Solid and easy 6.

Loving the bio, especially the scrolling banner - nice use of an animated gif :D

For the shop, I'd think about commerative mugs, baseball caps, t-shirts, calendars, books etc. The usual stuff you see in sports memorabilia stores. I think there's a few sites that allow you to make preview images of mugs and t-shirts from an uploaded image, might be able to save those to use?

Nice idea akaRenton. I will definitely have to look for some of those sites. Thanks

When I used to co-host a gaming podcast we used cafepress for merch. As far as I remember it doesn't cost anything to make your own store. Quality of products was always good too.

Ah JD maybe I should clarify. Thanks for the link but I meant more along the lines of fictional stuff to go in the shop. Not sure how it would work with the site rules to actually sell things through a team bio :)

Surely a fling shop should sell food and drink btw

craft beers are very popular now mate why not call the shop a bar and sell a beer from every country of the coaches you have played and even a seperate beer for each coach if from the same country
eg ireland - guiness ireland again murphys irish stout
nz - monteiths, moa, tuatara, and so on and so forth

This is really a top-notch team/bio. I am very proud to have lost to these Mootlings with my UW squad! I hope to lose again to them someday soon! Definitely need to see some food/drink/pipe-weed in that shop, somehow theme'd up with a team the Mootlings have faced... I'm not creative enough to think of a good way to do that, though!
