I had originally planned to make this post a few weeks from now under the title "Mr Pentalarc Goes to Washington (State)". Unfortunately, my horrible luck has continued to follow me.

I have just posted a gofundme because in the last 24 hours, situations have gone severely downhill. To make a long story short:

We moved to Texarkana to stay with my mother for a period of time because I had a job lined up. The plan was to save up money and eventually move to Washington State, where the economy is good and I can definitely find work.

However, two things have recently happened. FIrst of all, my mother is now ill. She is not in immediate danger of passing, but for several reasons connected with her illness, we cannot stay here as long as we originally intended.

Secondly, the job that I had lined up fell though because they found out that I was not planning on staying in Texarkana permanently. So, they rescinded their job offer and have hinted around in the process that they are going to tell other perspective employers in the area not to hire me.

I am going to try to find whatever I can to get a job in order to save up money now that we have to leave here even faster. However, because of the difficulties of the shortened time frame combined with the fact that the previous company is apparently telling people I won't be staying, this has become a sad necessity.
