Nine days before the Agility Monsters' first match in the 10th FUMBBL Cup, right after the draw. Head coach Rabe enters the Agility Monsters' locker Room.

Brom: And? What did we get?

Brumbas: Elves?

Rhoda: Orcs?

Dorfort: Please not Amazons again!?

Duane: Goblins!

Laughter.

Head Coach Rabe: <seriously> No. Nurgle.

Sudden silence.

Grimbald: <cold> Nurgle... and from The Box, I guess?

Head Coach Rabe: Yeah, from The Box.

Dorfort: Doh!

Grimbald: Dammit!

Ziruin: With fangs and claws and all their ugliness?

Head Coach Rabe: I'm afraid so.

Grimbald: Dammit!

Brumbas: <grumbling> Then it's going to be a battle, not a game...

Ramnah: Ok, calm down. We won't back off. So we have to prepare ourselves!

Brom: She's right!

Head Coach Rabe: Dalandis, Alion, Groin: You go and check out that team. See what you can get. Be careful, though! I don't want to lose anyone prior to the match already!

Ramnah: And we gonna practice hard...

Head Coach Rabe: Absolutely. We'll need all your skill and willpower, ladies and gentlemen!


Five days before the match...

Brom: Took you some time to get back... we were worried already!

Alion: Well, it took us days just to clean that stench off...

Laughter.

Groin: Besides watching them, we went all over the FC camp, trying to find some coaches or players that played them before.

Brom: What did you find out?

Dalandis: They've only played against dwarves once before - and lost. This was a while back though. Still, might be a psychological advantage.

Ziruin <wary>: Psycho- what?!

Alion: They don't have much experience fighting dwarves... at least on the Blood Bowl pitch. That gives us an advantage. And the fact they lost their only game might help as well if it leads to insecureness.

Duane: Ok... but we're still talking about a Nurgle team from the Black Box here, right?

Dalandis: Besides that, at least their warriors are pretty slow and clumsy...

Brumbas: <mumbling> Sounds familiar to me...

Dalandis: ...and the rest of them are pretty average ball handlers at best. Well, except for that one mutated beastmen...

Ziruin: <bitter> So they come with a few nauseating killing machines, a decent ball handler and a couple of solid support guys. Anything else?

Duane: Oh man, this stinks...

Ziruin: <steps forward and turns towards his teammates> I say, this even stinks to high heaven! We better-

Ramnah: <jumps forward with a growl, jostling Ziruin away> Come on, stop it - stop it right now! Next thing you'll make us listen to fart jokes... <pushes Ziruin back to the others>

Nomril: <grunts amused>

Ramnah: <in some kind of funereal voice> Listen up. This might be my last game with you guys. If you don't want that to happen, we better WIN this one together! Don't make it a farce... <pauses>

Absolute silence.

Ramnah: ...or worse: a fart even! <grins and starts giggling, quickly bursting into laughter>

Roaring laughter arises, keeping up for a few minutes. Backslapping. Cheers.

Brom: <amid tears> Alright, alright... I step up for LOS duty!

Ziruin: What?! Are you insane?

Brumbas: Come on, man! You're one of our best prime... well... secondary ball handlers!

Grimbald: I'll step in for Brom!

Ziruin: No way! Those guys will outmuscle us... we got to keep our guards together!

Groin: Alright guys, stay calm. We have a decent coaching staff now, remember? They'll figure something out!

Timothy: Oh, I think I already have some ideas for you that you will like... <grins>


Five minutes before the match. The Agility Monsters seem cheerful and optimistic.

Head Coach Rabe: Ok ladies and gentlemen, here we go! Bring this one HOME!

Ziruin: <shouts> Aim high!

All: <shout> Aim for the FUMBBL Cup!!
