Willing to donate a little money to FUMMBL?

A fan of teams with fluff and crazy concepts?

Rabe's Badge Hunters (Blackbox, Human) - TAKEN by DukeTyrion

A team dedicated to collecting FUMBBL Badges. So far they acquired 10 of them in 34 games, some of them truly blog-worthy. They also feature an insane amount of stat upgrades and one of FUMBBL's (most likely) few ogres with Leap. Their current main goal: To survive 25 games in the box without the need to hire any players!


Slayer Candidates (Ranked, Amazon) - TAKEN by liquidorange

A young but promising "adoption team" with a unique concept: Each player represents a potential successor of Zara the Slayer and is trained by a different FUMMBL coach (her "Watcher"). Players start as linewomen but can develop into positionals and go into recovery to get rid of lasting injuries.


Natural HUBBA Winners (League, Slann)

The name already states their ambitions. And they started well: Second place in their first season, with stunning 18 touchdowns in 7 games - including two 5-0 wins! They got mangled a bit in the HUBBA Cup and lost their first game of their second season, but a journeyfrog (who will now of course get hired) managed to kill one of HUBBA's most successful and despised stat freaks.


Graceful Ballers (League, Dwarf)

A team consisting exclusively of former Agility Monsters journeymen who did not get hired. They bring the dwelfball to infBOWL (soon)!


Return Of The Retired (Blackbox, Nurgle)

Every now and then this extraordinary team shows up in the tournament scene. All its players were disrespectfully retired by their former coaches and have now gathered for another (last) attempt to shine and die on the pitch!


Ironfist's Nomads (League, Dwarf)

A band of mercenaries that only lately stumbled into the ruthless league of GRIND, now eager to rise to the top and dominate the Tilean sport Grindball.


Mahrak Assassins (League, Khemri)

An extraordinary Khemri team, made up of assassin apprentices. They don't bring tomb guardians to the KPL, but bombs and lot's of hypnotic gaze (for a Khemri team).


Claw Monsters (Blackbox, Underworld)

A young Blackbox team with reversed roles: The goblins grow claws, the (few) skaven players and the troll are reduced to supporting roles. Goblin mutation powah!


Karak Norn Bouncers (Ranked, Dwarf)

A team that hasn't played a single game. Its (so far) only objective: Earn the "Boing Boing" FUMBBL Badge by featuring three AG 2 players with Leap someday!



How does it work?

1) You pick a team.
2) You donate at least $5 to FUMMBL.
3) Let Kalminael know that you have donated and which team you would kindly ask him to create a logo for in his forum topic.
4) Patiently wait for the result.
5) Get informed by me when the team logo and your name are added to the team bio.


Why is it win-win-win?

FUMBBL and Christer get some money.
I and one of my teams get a great team logo.
You will get an entry in the chosen team's bio (and gold supporter status on your profile for two months).


Why don't I simply donate $5 for each team myself?

I'll certainly make a donation. But I can't afford it for all of them. Also, I always wanted to find a way to raise some funds for FUMBBL, and this is at least a small effort towards it. Last but not least, I like to make people happy - be it by raising funds, offering them a place in one of my team bios or simply entertaining them with yet another hopefully interesting blog entry. If I manage to inspire coaches to invest (a little) more into team fluff - and be it only into a good logo, like Kalminael provides them - I'm more than pleased as well. :-)


Why are the Agility Monsters not on that list?! I would pay $1000 to become their sponsor!

I'm really happy with the logo I got as a gift from Archpeasant (who I didn't even know by then) over three years ago. No need for a replacement. Please donate the money anyway!
