Yes. The Razorbacks pulled of yet another
lucky win this evening. Beating the hated Grizzlies in a true brawl of a game. Up 1-0 turn 16. Defense is in a ok state. Legendary fouler
Dieter Van Kasselchooses to help the team with other duties than fouling. This was not the way to go. A brutal skull+both down, sends Van Kassel to the ground. Teammate Arthur Haldenhoff was just next to Van Kassel, and when he looked down, he saw no life in Van Kassels eyes. In fact, half of Van Kassels head was gone, nothing to do. The APO had left "the pit" a few turns earlier after saving key defensive player Jerry Rice from KO.
Haldenhoff fell to the ground, picking up the remains of his hero of a teammate. Crying to the sky:
"Nuffle! why! He did nothing but serve you in the glory of blood!"
Here after the game. The mood of team was down. way down. Even though Van Kassel was no great player with many skills, or many SPP he was feared throughout the league. Several teams was changing tactics when they saw Van Kassel on pitch. Not using their old school PO player when they should. Trying to avoid his fearsome boot.
The official pressrelease from the Razorbacks:
We have lost a great player today. Van Kassel was our biggest and most shining star. This was his 25th game with the team and we were supposed to have a party for him after the match. His credentials speaks for themselves.
- 1st Razorback (and only so far) to make the ProBowl team.
- 1st player in DLE history to reach 50 career fouls.
- Made DLE-record of 10 fouls in
one game. (with out being sent off, and no bribe to help him)
- Got the award: Dirty boy of the year DLE season 2.
- reaching legend status with only 2 SPP(atleast in fame)
- keeping a game average of 3,16 fouls.
Furtermore he managed to dodge MVP for 23 games, as his speciality was to work in the dark, going about his business when the ref had his back to Van Kassel.
We say goodbye to our greatest star with a heavy heart. In the dust of a legend, others will rise!
/end of pressrelease.
