As we enter the last quarter of the season with 4 games to play out of 16, Rotenbach Razorbacks have called to another pressconference.

From the press we have CabalVision, who makes sure fans all over the empire can follow the great league, and our usual reporters from Wissenland Post(WP), Rotenbach Gazette(RG) and DLE News(DN). And just maybe reporters from BLITZ! magazine will be here taking notes aswell.

the room is filled with exited people of the press, fans, and nosy rivals, as SpecialOne enters the almost full room. The look on his face doesn't tell the tale of a team currently leading the division by 3 games, and is currently holding a byeweek in the playoff. With a dark look on his face, SpecialOne takes the podium and starts

SpecialOne: Welcome everybody. We are as always happy to see you all. Bring your questions!

WP: erhm.. Why is DeVille not with us at this pressconference?

SpecialOne: He is preparing a new gameplan for the last 4 games of the season. He needs full focus on the team we have, and the games ahead of us. We have had a GREAT season so far, but we are not in the promised land yet. THE PLAYOFF!

DN: First you lost Van Kassel in a win over the Grizzlies, and the week after you lost your first game of the season. Are the Razorbacks going down hill?

SpecialOne: There is no doubt we are in a rough part of the season. We where very happy with our non-loosing streak for the first 11 rounds, and we hoped to make a perfect season with no losses in regular season, but with 5 dead players over the last 2 games, we had to reevaluate our team and chances. We aim for playoff, and then lady luck will take us where she must. With the loss of both guard players, our prime fouler, and some skilled LoS guys, we have brought 5 shining new rookies from our academy to the team. Lets hope they can develop into classplayers. We have had succes with that earlier on.

RG: Bastian. You are a local boy who made the team, and is making a name for yourself. What is your thought on the new blood on the team and your chances?

Von Rijn: I know these guys will litterally die with their boots on for the team. Only weeks ago they where training with the academyteam, and sitting in the stands on DLE nights. They bring fire and passion. We will make the playoff, We must. We have all these great fans, and we will not disappoint them. We talk about our own 4 games, Remas Eagles 4 games(one against us) and how Marienburg Foxes last 4 games turns out. A lot of games must go against us, for us not to make the playoff. This is bloodbowl, and anything can happen. If we win just one game more, we could/should be in the clear!

DN: How will you approach the last 4 games?

SpecialOne: We have the upperhand when it comes to points. So we can play for a couple of draws right now. That is what DeVille is looking at right now. Every single point we can get from these games count. We can't rely on others to do the dirty work for us. We will look to players like Bastian here for leadership to take the team further on. He will get help from some other high profile players on the team like Brandon Taylor and Vann Bartholomeu. We still have quality in the team, but we need to play our own strength and not the opponents. When we meet the Lizardman team next game, we must not play them good in all their +ST, but let them hunt us all over the pitch, so we can trick them somehow.

SpecialOne takes the floor for the final remarks of the pressconference

SpecialOne: We stand in a funny situation. Before the season, we named this our "builder" season with 7 picks in the coming draft, we were building for a great season 4. But this season has been a fairytale of good and lucky games, until recent events with our 1st loss and 5 dead players. So it is a bit odd that we stand here talking about getting in the playoff at any cost, when we were not supposed to here in the first place. When the season started we were the 28th ranked team in Team Value in the whole league. And yet here we stand. We should allready be celabrating a great season, but if we miss the playoff we are disappointed. Funny how the world can turn. One thing can you can be sure of. We will bring our best posible performance in the rest of the season.
