The air was filled with excitement. The team did it what noone believed before the season. The pressroom in "The Pit" was filled with happy singing fans, cheering and chanting the name of the Headcoach. Johnson DeVille. The man who brought this succes to the entire franchise.

All the usual reporters are here today. Wissenland Post(WP), Rotenbach Gazette(RG) and ofcourse CabalVision is here for a live broadcast aswell.

SpecialOne enters the room, but he steps away from the stage and gives a sign to man in the back of the stage area, smoke develops as they set a couple of skinks on fire. Through the smoke enters Johnson DeVille. The fans goes crazy seeing the real hero of the team! Finally after he missed the last pressconference, his arms raised high. Recieving all the glory that comes his way! DeVille lowers his arms, and with that the crowd goes silent.

DeVille: Here we are! Champions of KFC South. The best division in the league last season! And! We are in the playoff!!!

The fans goes mad! Security got a hard time containing a small group of hardcore fans, but once again DeVille get the crowd under control.

DeVille: Lets have some questions.

RG: Tell us how you did this. It's a miracle. What happen in this season?

DeVille: Well. We were actually backloading for the draft we see after this season, so this was supposed to be a medium season by our calulations. Noone believed in us. During our 16 games, we were underdogs in 11 of them. These players have shown what they are made of. Meet some of them here!

more skinks are lit up, and on to the stage comes Bastian Von Rijn, Vann Bartholomeu and finally Brandon Taylor.

On the way up to the stage, suddenly Taylor trips, because he can't see where he steps in the smoke. He goes to the ground, and stays down. The hardhitter of the team has been taken down by some smoke! A gasp goes through the crowd. Thats it! Taylor looks injured! 2 helpers comes running and supports Taylor to the stage.

DeVille: Trying to keep a straight face Welcome these fabulous guys on to the stage. These guys are the main reason we stand where we do. Taylor with 9 cas during the season, Von Rijn with 7 passes and 5 TD, and finally Vann with 9 TDs during the regular season!

WP: How far can you go in the playoff?

Vann: We can go all the way. people keep underestimating us. The other day I heard the Evil Empire(Patriots) gave us a slim 1% chance to win it all. I say we have a 50% chance to win it all! Either we win it or we don't. It's that easy.

WP: First game looks to be against Marienburg Foxes, you played a 1-1 draw with them in regular season. Can you win?

Von Rijn: Yes we can. This is the playoff, but with our injured Ogre, and... looks to Taylor ermh. this new accident, we must say the Foxes are favorites. I will give it 45 - 55 their favour. We dream big, and if we can make...

Suddenly DeVille jumps from the stage, and runs towards the exit, where he sees a cloaked figure vanish out the door, and into the dark night, seemingly without leaving a trace of who it was.

DeVille comes back, and the pressconference continues.

RG: Is Taylor out of the next game?

DeVille: We don't know for sure yet, but lets be honest. That fall didn't look good. If those Foxes were behind this scheme, and hurt Taylor before our big clash. They must be terrified of us. But we hope to get a warmup game with division rivals Eagles. They look to have got lost on the way here to Rotenbach, So we don't know if we get to play them before the playoff kicks in. And with this we will take no further questions, the squad needs to get ready to perform in our first ever playoff game in DLE.


What did happen with Taylor? Was he injured the game before, where he left the pitch early? Did the Foxes have a part in this accident? And why have the Eagles not shown for the last regular season game yet?

After the pressconference DeVille walks around the pressroom, and in the back where he first saw the cloaked figure, he finds a small object on the floor, and before picking it up, he looks around. Noone is there. He picks up the item, and hides it fast. Just standing there remembering how he by a fluke accident ended up getting the job as headcoach. He got lucky. No experience with humanteams at all. Why did SpecialOne even look to him, when finding his headcoach? DeVille has given this much though through the 2 seasons leading this team...
