Pressrelease from Razorbacks
A star of the team died. A new star was born. That is the big wheel of BloodBowl. It must go on. One shall parrish, and others will rise to the stars!
Ofcourse we talk about the untimely death of
Jerry Rice, the star cornerback of the Razorbacks. Taking a small chance with a 1 dice block, to open for the opponent baller. He rolled a skull RR skull, Kill APO Kill. Nothing to do. Jerry was gone.
Before that tragic event, another player was rising to the stars.
Brass Van Houten who the game before learned how to be nasty, really took upon him to get the underdogs of Razorbacks back in the drivers seat in this
playoff game in the DLE Wildcard Week. 3 fouls, and 2 cas (Ogre+Catcher) and a KO (killer blitzer) later, nobody was talking about former star fouler Dieter Van Kassel at the Rotenbach Stadium this evening. Van Houten singlehandedly turned the tables and got the Razorbacks back on track in this game.
Other players worth mentioning is Brandon Taylor with 3 Cas, and Vann Bartholomeu with both TD's of the Razorbacks. Vann is also on the block for a place on the ProBowl Team of KFC this season. This performance makes him hard to get around in this years team.
No need to say that teamowner SpecialOne was thrilled by the win, and the fans of the team was out of this world with happiness!
Next up in the divisional playoff week is an away game vs Flashfurt Universe. The Razorbacks sees them selves as massive underdogs, and can play without pressure by playing uphill 500k in value! (league is without inducements)
