DLE SHC Conference final
I, Robbert Graaf, am back. Games are flying by fast, so I missed a blog on my prediction on the KFC Conference final, but I got it right, and the defending Champions Broekwater Patriots are ready for the SuperBowl. Ennough with them, as I will write about the SuperBowl also. I am only 4/9 right now. So pressure is on to get this one right. Greenskins coach Matthueycamo has been so nice to tell me I only guess 20% right in his games.
SHC Conference final:
Wolfenburg Wolfskins vs Grenzburg Greenskins
Wolfskins come from a byeweek, and then a game with Bucs where they won 2-1. In the process they have defensive catcher Barker Legeux missing this game, so Coach Laskas brings 15 players to this game. Wolfskins are 3rd best scoring team, and 5th best defence in the league, so they know how to score, and defend. The Wolfskins has taken some beating, and lost some good players during the season, so they only bring 2 ST4 players. They had more earlier, and the lineman group as been weakend, and are bringing 3 rookies. If Wolfskins are to succeed they must look to blitzers Harry Bellower (Tackle, Guard, MB, PO) and Oliver Vernon (+ST, +AG, MB, Guard) to pull the weight of the team, and they need catcher A. J. Jenkins (+MA, +AG, +AG, Block, Leap) to perform at his top level. It looks like Wolfskins are moving away from being a +ST bashy team and more looking to be an agile team. They have several AG4 players and Jenkins is AG5. Will they come out passing?
Greenskins has taken the long road from the wildcardweekend, to get here. First they beat Bilbali Rangers, and then Kislev White Wolves to get here. An impressive accomplishment by coach Matthueycamo to get his team here. Killing the favorites all the way. Greenskins bring 4 +ST players, one is the ogre, one is lineman, one is blitzer, and one is thrower. Very spread out. Greenskins blitzers are good at killing and 3 of them bring MB/PO, so this can turn red hot very fast. And maybe this is the explanation as to why Greenskins has only lost 200k TV this season(best in the league). They simply remove the opponent from the pitch. Also Greenskins like to get up close and personal and the Greenskins have given out 2nd most blocks(796) during the season. Greenskins bring 16 players to this game.
Who will prevail and move on to the SuperBowl? I will tell you.
Greenskins win, their squad is overall better than Wolfskins, and now coach Matthueycamo must decide if he wants to help me bring up my 20% or let Laskas go on, so Matthueycamo can continue to mock my poor judgement on his team. ;)
Rumour has it the game will be played tonight, so tune in. will agile humans win, or will the bashtrain continue to steamroll through the Sigmar Heldenhammer Conference?
