Here we are. The big game. The one we have all been waiting for. DLE Superbowl! To my knowledge it will go down on sunday the 1st of July at 20.00 servertime!

This years final is between defending champions Broekwater Patriots vs Grenzburg Greenskins.

The question we all want answered. Can Broekwater do it again? They bring a full squad of 16 players, and only 1 rookie backup thrower. This is patriots at full strenght. They faced Marienburg Foxes in the conference final, and won that game in the classic 2-1 grind we know from the patriots playbook.
Just to recap. Patriots have not lost a single game this season. How about that. They are 4th in TDs made(58), 1st in fewest blocks taken(515 in 16 games), 5th in rushing yards, 1st in conversion ratio (blocks/cas, 1st in block ratio(blocks for/blocks against). These stats are impressive. This is combined with a team full of stars. Patriots don't foul much, and they don't pass the ball much. They play some solid bloodbowl with a good squad, and it will be exciting to see if Greenskins can break down this team.

The other question we want answered. Can Greenskins do anything to stop this mashine of a well oiled team? Greenskins come from a tough fought conference final that went into overtime before the Greenskins won 3-2 against Wolfenburg Wolfskins. The victory came with a price. Starplayer lineman Zack Martin(ST5! Block, Guard) is now only ST4, and will not play the final. Greenskins must look to their band of MB/PO blitzers to turn this the right way. Greenskins are split 3rd in best defence, 2nd in most blocks(796), 3rd in block ratio(blocks for/blocks against), least loss in TV(only regular season). Greenskins don't foul much, and they don't pass much. Have you heard this somewhere before?

We look at 2 hardcore running game teams. One is not getting hit, and the other is dishing out many blocks. They both have a very good block ratio, and one team is good at scoring, and the other is good at defending. On paper, this is a very close superbowl. But looking closer at the teams, we see Greenskins only bring 13 players to Superbowl(maybe more if the can find a meatshield(rookie) to replace a MNG player. if they want to. If they make changes, we know they are full on in this game. If they don't they might be looking more towards the new season, than this final. Lets hope for this game. Greenskins still have a potent team, and as outlined, the teams are very similar in build, where Patriots got an edge on the +ST.

Will we see back to back champions with a perfect season? Will we see a brand new winner? You don't need to watch the game live, I will tell you here. Patriots win. We will have a back to back champion. Sorry Greenskins, but the loss Zack Martin will be too great for you. it is a dicegame, so go out and prove me wrong. I know you want my predictions on the Greenskins to drop below 50%. :)
