How big is each square? I hate the standard board because big guy bases do not fit very well into one square. If I ever make my own board I will be making the squares larger and creating a proportional pass range ruler.

Sorry man! Standard size as for as I can tell. I haven't measured it or anything but my old board fits in there just as neatly and they look identical.
That said, the borders are way more readable on this one which is nice. The small + signs that split the squares on the regular board sometimes trip me up so it's nice to see this one be more defined.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago. It looks excellent. Not had chance to use it yet, but excited to do so!
