10 million in treasury
So the new rules being implemented piecemeal have introduced an unintended wrinkle - large treasuries being dumped into petty cash with no downside. Those teams with 1 million or more in gold who face young teams or recovering teams that can't afford to spend anything in petty cash are going to have a huge advantage. I just played a team with 10 million in treasury, and they dropped 880k without batting an eye. I only had 90k and I was saving up to replace a Nurgle Warrior (or whatever the F they are called now). Ridiculous. Had 3 players killed (2 perm) so I'm still rebuilding. I'm not sure what the fix is, but until something is done to address it I'm done with Blackbox.

Such a shame uh.

Setting all teams' treasury at 150,000 or 200,000 gold maybe?
There would be no millionaire teams anymore.

I'm assuming they do at least lose the 880k they spent so it is a temporary problem?

At least when 'seasons' comes in that guy will have a high likelihood of losing the whole lot in one massive 'expensive mistake'.

I just had 590k dropped on my in the Lustrian, luckily I won

Put all teams in unready state. They can spend the cash normally and then get spiraling expenses triggered before they play.

But Renton is a class act and would not drop gold like that on someone.

I like that he took Lewdgrip just to really rub it in.

I was a victim of this new rule before I took advantage of it, but definitely don't like how unfair it is

If your opponent drops 880k don't you get the equivilent in petty cash back? So some inducement heavy matches?

sorry not fully read up on the new TV and inducement rules as DLE doesn't use them.

My HE played about 800k uphill in Lustrian against dorfs due to this new rule. I regretted to have applied for the tourney before the 1st turn had been played (but to make that clear, I don't blame my opponent!). One more reason to stay away from ranked and box and focus on league.

I might have to avoid blackbox until about mid-April then. Ugh .. :(

@c9805222: no, now there is no petty cash (or expensive mistakes). If your opponent drops 800k of treasury, you get zip.

I'm told Box coaches are the ones that can handle tough match ups. Yet once again, the opposite is demonstrated.
