Compulsive Logo Syndrome
I have a problem.
I love to create logos for my teams. Sometimes I make a logo for fun and feel like I need to make a team for it afterwards, just so that I can use it. I'm not particularly skilled with GIMP, but I put together what I can. I would love to say that I, at least, am not alone. But I don't think I can though, as the vast majority of the people I play against have no logo. It makes me sad.
My great dismay intensified when I found out that there is a bug which prevents logos from being displayed when using gamefinder. I would love to have my logos displayed on the pitch and I enjoy seeing other logos just as much. Maybe if it was fixed more people would put a logo together.
Am I alone here? Are there any other "logo-ites" out there? Any chance that someone knows a way around the bug other than direct connection?

I like your style though I am a finder of logos (or gifted with logos) rather then a maker myself, love seeing them on the pitch in league though! :)

The reason my teams have no logos is that I wouldn't know how to begin with it.. But if YOU want to make logos for my Slann teams, go right ahead :P

I would love to see peoples logos in gamefinder. I think they add such a cool dimension to an already epic game. They make the teams seem so much more unique than they already are

I love logos too. They truly give a team life and add a nice touch to the pitch as well.

True, Fishbowl (gamefinder) doesn't let your logo pass... but an arranged game via IRC does. Find someone in Fishbowl and contact them via chat to play.

We need more coaches with you're attitude for sure, but you are not alone (as the replies already show). :-)
I like to have logos, although since I lack time and talent, mine are usually just pictures without background (and often enough I do a crappy job even on that). I don't mind if someone else wanted to create logos for my teams (I know that many coaches like my team concepts).
Always having the logos on the pitch would be great, showing them on gamefinder and the "current games" page would be even more awesome!

Within my 1st year on Fumbbl, I came across Lavino Fighting Hellfishes, and then shortly after the Nachtburg Ancients. They kindled my logos and proper team themes (no, that does not include just naming all your players after, say, Soups, #1 Minestrone, #2 Miso).
Since then I've done everything from spoofing logos of the internet, to making originals like the Blackbox Minors banner.

If this been a recent change and not a bug - not that anyone would care - but that would suck, immensely!
I love logos they add all the flavour and difference. Im even so pro logos that i think a bad logos is better then none. No, and that is not an excuse for my bad logos - i really can appreciate a bad logo on other teams just as well!
Sadly i cant bring myself up to learn gimp, it pisses me off the moment i do my first clicks. I would also feel too ashamed to ask someone to do it for me - so that will be probably be my logo career then.

@albinv no it was not always like that Logos worked all the time back when we where using the Java bowl client. But I doubt people want to go back to lrb4 and to that client. Altho it was great work that skijunkie did on the javabowl client the new client FFB client is just so much better even thou the rules are not.
as for my own logo favorite I cant decide between the racial Darkelf logo or the Fling one. but really Foulys dwarf logo is the best! Lone Stras have a special place in my heart!
