Kickstarter + EU Business Help
Hi, everyone!

As 4.8/6 of you will be pleased to know, the I, Spy funding campaign was a smashing success!

Much thanks goes out to some wonderful FUMBBL coaches for helping to make this possible, especially the_Sage and game|set|match, who were kind enough to help spread the word. We'll be making a big donation to FUMBBL next week, thanks to the pledges we received from you guys.

I have 2 quick questions:

1) If you pledged to the campaign, can you please send me a FUMBBL PM with your Kickstarter pledge name and the amount you pledged? (If you've already done this, you don't need to do it again) This is in regards to the FUMBBL donation.

2) Do any of you Europe-based FUMBBLers own a registered small business? If so, I'm interested in having a very quick conversation about VAT. Please PM me if you do. I would like to give you money.

Really looking forward to bringing this game to you guys.

Awesome, well done! When I looked a couple of weeks ago it wasn't going so well. Seems that a deadline coming up spurs people into action.

Nice! Congrats!

Which player was you in the video??

Many congratulations on the achievement.
I think we Europeans pay VAT in the US (through you) and then import tax in the EU (for shipments from outside the EU, though customs). Not entirely sure though.

I need to pay more attention as this looks fantastic.

All I can seemingly give now is my heartiest congratulations. Might order a copy!

Hmm, so far it's 6/6 though. (9/9, really =)

But didn't we already pay VAT in the states? (as I assume that's included in the $37)

I think you will have to pay tax twice. I have occasionally seen companies online offer to remove their country's tax if posting abroad, but very rarely as I think it requires some admin.
Also if it is shipped by a courier like FedEx they will add some customs processing fee. That doesn't seem to happen with normal postal service which takes a little longer.
I have previously sent an item to Thailand and there they even include the postage price when calculating import tax!
I suppose if the item price isn't labeled it may go through unchecked.

Way to go!

It's great to see someone's hard work pay off.

Cheers to smooth sailing from here on out.
