The Old World is bounded by the immeasurably high Worlds Edge Mountains in the east, by the dark and deep Great Ocean to the west, and by the forbidding Troll Country in the north. To the South lies a broad arm of the Great Ocean and beyond this the shores of the land of Araby.
Through time much has changed in The Old World, bitter conflicts and endless War have broadened the differences between the races and fuelled the hatred and lust for mortal revenge.
In one thing though, they still gather together, some for fun others to fight disputes – The fields of Blood Bowl!

This is the Fringe...there may be not much else, but there is Blood Bowl!

Credits and respect goes to the good people ‘down under’ who run the Southern Wastes League. The OWL have adapted the rules of the SWL to mimic one of the most successful and respected leagues on fumbbl.

OWL Greenskins - If you're looking to join the OWL, this is the place to start! As stated above, you must be European or living in Europe. Sign up with a team (or more) here and come looking for games in #owl. Also, check out the quickstart section in the OWL Guide - it gives you some pointers on what the Fringe is about and what else we have in store for you. For more info on the OWL, the guide will answer most of your questions, otherwise ask in #owl. See you on the pitch!

Group Concept - This place is purely and simply a place where OWL coaches may find regular sociable games with other OWL coaches. That's its only purpose - please keep that in mind when participating or running tournaments in the group (note this does not mean you need go easy on your opponents - game on!). To find a game, drop into #owl and ask there if anyone's looking for a fringe game.

Entry Restrictions - As with the other OWL groups, to participate you must be European or living in Europe. Each coach is allowed any number of LRB compliant teams. These can be any team you like, a brand new team, an 'OWL' team, an old ranked team (moved to ) or an unranked team that once played in another tournament. Once in however, there's ours! No dodging in and out of the group! (this has been agreed on by all to help foster the group atmosphere and also to avoid potentially abusive loopholes)

Tournaments - The OWL Fringe will be home to experimental/short term tournaments. If you have an idea for a tournament that you'd like to set up for yourself and a few others, please contact an admin and we'll see if we can arrange it.

Fringe Points - 1 Fringe Point will be given to teams everytime they play a OWL game. Please send PM to admin or tell admin in #owl when you have played a OWL game. -10 points for teams that doesn't show up for tournament games. Fringe points will be used in upcoming Drafts for the OWL Divisions. Read more in the OWL Guide.
