Welcome to Punchy Last Man Standing, or LMS as us vets like to call it! This is your host Spunkin O’Blogg taking you live ‘n’ bowlside to the bloodiest of the games in the circuit. Sponsored by Dice’o’Matic Chainsaws and ReebORK Steelclad shoes. Buy their stuff!

Ever thought Stunty Leeg was too lenient, clawed chaos warriors were wusses and you just wished you could kick that dwarf in the groin just one more time? You’ve come to the right place!

In LMS we forget about the ball. Yep, that's right, the little pig skinned object is kicked into the air and then promptly forgotten before it even lands. This group is about all out fighting and and teeth grinding pain!

Punchy Last Man Standing is to be saved from the pits of oblivion.... a new tournament will be started soon. Watch this space!

******************************************************

Revised Rules For The Second Season:

Basic Outline:
You have your million gold nuggets for spending and can buy a maximum of 11 starting players for your team. No more. Also:

Apothecary: not allowed. We like to see players get maimed.
Buying new players: not allowed. The starting 11 is all you get.
Freebooters & Stars: not allowed.
Wizards/chef: allowed.

Tournament Play:
The season is split into two stages – the league play-offs, and the Knock-Out Finals stage.

The league stage is where the magic happens. It’s open round robin play-off - you the coach must PM other coaches (or use the forum to taunt others into fighting!) and get ready to rumble. You can play each others team ONCE. Of course, you can save your team, but the more fights you play the more chance there is reaching the final.

The top 4 of this motley bunch will take part in a semi final, leading to the PUNCHY FINAL – when a winner is declared! The losing semi finalists will meet in the 3rd place play-off to see who wins the bronze trophy. (A further play-off will also take place - this being between the 2 best Stunty teams for all their endurance in such a bloodthirsty league!)

A tournament will last, on rough count, for 6 weeks. The league stage taking 4 weeks, and the semi finals/final played over the remainder 2 weeks.

Teams & Players Allowed/Banned:
Below is a list outlining which races are allowed in the Group. To even the playing field and promote racial integration some races (mostly those adept at dealing/receiving damage) are limited in numbers.

The number indicates how many teams of that race that is allowed. Chaos, chaos dwarf, dwarf, lizardmen and orc are limited in numbers. Big guys/trolls are allowed as defined. The list is updated everytime a race is taken by a coach.

Banned Races/players:
The following races are banned from the group, all for regeneration reasons (apart from the Ogre team, which is due to too many damned big guys): Khemri, Necromantic, Nurgles Rotters, Nurgling, Ogre, Snotling, Strigoyan, Undead, and Vampire.

How to Score Points:
2 teams battle it out during a game, picking up points by injuring their opponent:

Injuries (badly injured, seriously injured, deaths) are all treated as equal for scoring. The difference is in the armour value of the hurt player:
AV of 6 or less - 1 pt
AV of 7 - 2 pts
AV of 8 - 3 pts
AV of 9 - 4 pts
AV of 10 or more! - 5 pts
The higher the armour of the player you hurt the more points you bring home!

Also, a bonus 1pt is given for any deaths that occur.

Bonus casualty points:
LMS: 5 bonus casualty points are awarded to the team who is the last standing. To achieve this the entirety of the opposing team must be injured or KO'd or pushed out back to the subs bench, leaving no players on field. Both coaches must PM the organiser of the tournament to confirm a LAST MAN STANDING Bonus 5 Pts is due.

Regenerating player hurt: any regenerating player that is active in the league has an additional 2 pt bounty on their head. Therefore, if you permantly injure (a mng does not count) or kill a troll then you're collecting 6 juicy casualty points.

Most wanted list (MWL): As most LMS teams consist of rancorous egocentrical megalomaniac players, there is always extra fame for bringing down the stars of the league.

Therefore, if you manage to permanently injure or kill a player on the MWL, you will earn a bonus 3 casualty points.

The MWL is updated by the admins with the three (3) top SPP ranking players of the league. The admins will continually update this list, but as it is impossible to keep it 100% correct at every moment, remember that it is the list that counts for Most Wanted.

Bringing In New Players: you may NOT bring in replacement players for your team. This is a change to last seasons’ ruling that new players could be brought in – which has now been scrapped. Stars can now be hired to replace those tired & killed players. Freebooters are NOT allowed.

The Big "Don't Do"!:
Punchy LMS is all about the fist - and nothing about the ball. No spps are to be gained from ball handling - that includes throws, touch downs scored, etc etc. Any player who scores points in this manner will be given a good finger pointing to, with offenders being docked points. The way to earn spps in this group is by injurying the opponent!

The same applies as last season: Get out there and get stomping!

Winners of the first Punchy Last Man Standing:
