“Nuffle was definitely on the Feathers' side this game, especially during the second half. Putting heavy pressure on the ball the elves forced the Raiders to score fast or risk losing the ball (which actually happened, but I lost it as well). This left me relatively unscathed (a rip was apothed and 1 or 2 ko's) and with 4 turns to score the equalizer before half time. A halfway draw, so the second half would decide the game.

After receiving the kick, the Wandering Feathers opted to keep the agility 5 catcher with the ball in the back, trusting on his movement and agility when it would be required. Meanwhile the rest of the team was picking some fights, which went remarkably well considering the complete lack of mighty blow and with only 1 guard. Some early ko's were scored, significantly easying the job. Nuffle approved of the bizarre spectacle and after having surfed a chaos warrior I decided to 1d block another rookie Warrior rather than risking a 3+ dodge out of the sandwich position. The lucky pow even badly hurted the opponent and only 7 chaos players were left on the pitch. The rest was a classic stall where the opposing lines grew thinner every turn. This match my elves looked like orcs in disguise...

A nice win, even nicer winnings and an entertaining coach made this a great game to me.”
