“The Altdorf lads always knew this would be a brutal match. With the Ostland Blitz bringing three Journeymen of their own, the game would be a grudge match between those sorry souls that stand outside stadiums waiting to get a game, hoping a regular starting player is too sick, drunk, or dead to play.

The Ostland Blitz came out firing, with an aggressive first half performance led by Lucius Heinz, who had ended the game of three players before half time. Agressive piling on invited the boot, and early in the second half, Vilestream's boot found the sweet spot, leaving the Ostland Apothecary to choose between repairing a smashed collar bone or a serious concussion.

In the end it was a total of nine injuries for the two team, with the Ostland Blitz winning the count 5-4. It was the ball handling that made the difference though, after the Journeymen failed to prevent the Blitz from opening the scoring despite sacking their ball carrier twice. With an uncharacteristic error from Billy Hardfield the Altdorf Journeymen missed an opportunity to equalise at the end of the first half, and then Hardfield also conceeded a turnover in the second half when pushing for a quick score, leading to the second Ostland touchdown.

Paul Goldfist ran in a touch down at the end of the game to ensure the Journeymen were not held scoreless, but the game was over.
