#5 Hittalot Smakk – Smashed Hand (MNG)
Late night, just missed a Blackbox draw and I really wanted a game, ticked off everything in the Gamefinder and this is what I got!

Started off nicely with a GFI - 1, Team Reroll - 1, Armor Break, -ST injury, Apo, MNG on Hittalot. That's what I get for not settling for the next best pushback...

Of course that not only deprived me of the only real threat against the Nurgles but also put me in a horrible position, saved by the Beast of Nurgle NOT following up on a block, which probably would've held both my Sacker and my Snatcher in his Tentacles for the rest of the half.

Skitter Stab-Stab worked his Shadowing magic on the ball carrier leaving the ball pretty open to be swept up and carried away by Naff Rodent who scored a turn later. My mistake number 2. A better move would've been to move to the other side of the pitch, pass to Dyes Swiftly and stalled for another turn.

Kicking to the Nurgles again saw 4 players quickly carried off, 2 BH and 2 KO'd.
Next turn another BH, and a long pass succeeds and its 1-1 Turn 8. A one turn stall would've stopped that. Or at least forced two GFI's.

Second Half, we recieve, move up on the north flank, gets knocked over, ball is thrown in next to a rotter, who of course has no problems picking the ball up, making a long pass to a Nurgle Warrior...

Blitz on the warrior - block, reroll, pushback.

Next turn - dodge to get a 2db blitz on the same Warrior - 1, 1 turnover.

1-2. And I'm a bit annoyed.

Finally I managed two turns without any major disasters and it ends as a Draw - 2-2.

No permanent injuries - thanks to the two Wandering apothecaries we hired.

As the game ended I felt I got the short end of the stick, going through the game I see it was a bit more deserved than I initially though. I DID make a few bad mistakes - Hiring Fezglitch instead of perhaps an extra Lino or two Babes, GFI for that first blitz, and not stalling for another turn.

Still thinks the Nurgles two long passes and the failure to take the Warrior down was a bit much though, Nuffle...
