A lot of this game came down to dice, in that Blaud, the elf MB player, didn't do much before going out, while Ian Quickrock just went crazy. But there were a few things you could have done to prevent this dicing.

Really, your undoing came on turn 2, when you put Brackle in surf position. Yeah, yeah, I got a Cas on the first block, but if I'd gotten, say, a push, he still would have probably been introduced to Mr. Crowd on the second block. This left you thin on what had become the play-side of the play, and without Guard. If you'd not left your Blodge Guard Blitzer exposed, you would have had the resources to save Blaud and Standy from being Guard-locked on turn 4.

After that, you mostly played pretty well. I'd not have risked that Witch Elf leap to pop the ball, it cost you a player you couldn't afford to lose, but I'm not going to fault you for it: it had a (remote) chance at working. (This is a case where Wrestle would have been better than Block.)

Good game, you played your heart out. Good luck with the team!
