For game #131 Ranulf is the third dwarf from the Battlelore family to join the Monsters on the pitch. While the team was developing fine, coach Rabe came to the conclusion that some extra bench wouldn't hurt. Since the Battlelores are all familiar with game and team, hiring another of their sons for one of the two last vacant blocker positions seemed sensible.
Being a bench warmer in many of his early games, he started to shine in his 6th game, when a third of his comrades had been removed from the pitch by coach Battlelore's Darkside of the Force. He managed to badly hurt killer-beastman Governor Tarkin and was awarded Most Valuable Player for his performance. Rumors say there's a relation between the chaos coach and the proud family of warriors and some wonder if the Battlelores are driven by a very personal hatred against him...
In his 37th game Morg 'n' Thorg himself smashed Ranulf's collar bone - but apothecary Silverstaff was up to the task and fixed the damage promptly.
Ranulf got killed in his 40th game by legendary killer Palm Descended from Heaven.
