Acting as a squire for Baron Volo comes with a few perks, all of which Albert enjoys. The food is better, there is a modicum of respect and even a smidge of glory. However, even without all of these Albert would serve due to his family background. Eight generations of his ancestors have served the Lords and Ladies of Fort de Neuf. It is an impressive pedigree and one Albert intends to do proud on the pitch.
Year 3 Summer
After felling a troll on the pitch and becoming the dark horse of the team Albert has become a little more shy than before. He was practically dragged along to the luxury weekend and made to pose for a few photos. The only thing that he is more abashed about than participating in the photo shoot would be the trickle of fan mail he now receives. Whether this might affect him in the matches to come remains to be seen.
