Giovanna is the team mascot. Unlike everyone else, Giovanna is not an ex-quarrier, but the daughter of one of the foremen of the Farnesi Quarries. She was a hang-around for a year, fascinatedly watching the team in training, and in particular Annalisa, who still is her idol. She used to catch balls that ended up outside of the field, and pitch them back to the team. One day Arnold, on purpose, threw a ball in her direction, and when she caught it easily, despite the wicked curve Arnold had added, he offered her a position as a catcher. Giovanna accepted delightedly, and barely managed to get away from her angry family with an extra shift of clothes.

Giovanna is a tall, gangly youth with a long, blonde mane of hair. She is only 15, but always has a smile and an encouraging comment to fellow players who struggle, and is dear to every one of her team members, even including the gruff ogre. If something where to happen to Giovanna, the whole team would be up in arms against the perpetrator...

First game vs the city guard: Giovanna was limping off the field just after she had come on, due to a hard tackle by a Guard. Of course, she was judged to be the most valuable player for the Quarriers. Blond hair Counts for something, she claimed.

Second game vs Miracles: Giovanna got on the Field in the second half and managed to pick up the ball in a tackle zone in pouring rain. unfortunately, she was so satisfied With herself she didn't notice Sun Dancer coming up on her and got sacked. But the fans love her almost as much as the team, and judged her MVP for the second game in a row. She has now learned The Stance. When she stamps her feet into the ground and assumes The Stance, nothing will move her.

Third game vs Pox: Giovanna played the second half, and helped bringing down the Pox dangerous run up the left side, and was handed the ball from Antonella With a clear path towards the endzone and three blitzers running interference. She couldn't miss, and didn't :) First TD for Giovanna!

Eight game vs Blended Men: Giovanna started the match and easily made the offensive TD after a quick pass from Antonella. With Block she will be very much more useful.

Ninth game vs Pox: Giovanna's Third careed TD came, as her first, against the Pox. She ran in the offensive TD without much trouble. For her fantastic celebration show, she also endeared herself to the fans who put her name in the Box for the MVP of the match.
