The deadites made amends in this <a href="http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2938355">brutal game</a> by smashing the Drakenhöff crew off the pitch with ease. The Vamps stole the ball in the first half after a triple skull, but bad positioning meant that they then failed the protect the ball as they made for the endzone, and were rightfully made to pay with another turnover. A solid drive up the pitch in the second half saw the Dental School go 1-0 up, but they couldn't stall out that extra crucial turn as they were being decimated in the cas and ko count. When two players succumbed to heat exhaustion at the next kick-off it was 11 vs. 6 and the Zombie Pirates easily scored in the final moments of the game. Honourable mention in this match report must go to <a href="http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=5723498">Fulk</a>. He played 45 consecutive games following the Dental School's foundation, an incredible feat for a thrall, proving himself a true iron-man in the process. Even today he had to be killed TWICE before finally leaving the field. We hope he goes on to be just as great a player <a href="http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=7356749">in death</a> as he was in life. At least until next time these two teams meet, when we intend to kick his traitorous ass. <img src='http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL/Images/PlayerIcons/deblitzer1.gif'><b>29/07/08; Game 19 - </b>The Dental School was challenged by world-renowned coach <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=coachinfo&coach=65914">Emeyin</a>, who at the time was ranked at 36 in the overall coach standings in FUMBBL's [R] division. Perhaps expecting an easy game for his team <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=458681">Crimson Eclipse</a>, coach Emeyin was left aghast as the Dental School stepped up to the plate and shocked Blood Bowl fans around the globe with a <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2280448">2-1 win</a>. Reports of outrageous luck on the part of the Dental School are surely malicious exagerrations. And after an annonymous debut, <a href="http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=5733883">Dougie Drakenhöff</a> showed he has the potential to fill the spiked boots of his <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=5723485">father</a> with three completions and a cas, only being deprived of the MVP after lineman <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=5723829">Gerber</a>, upset at his total lack of recognition after 17 long, brutal games, bunged the match officials in order to get his name in the record books. The Dental School has informed the Press Association that Gerber will be honoured at a special dinner this evening. Will this be the start of a new era for Drakenhöff Dental School? Probably not, but they are quite content to bask in a little glory until their next pummeling! <img src='http://fumbbl.com/teams/216573.jpg'> <b>25/07/08; Game 17</b> - A sad day for the School as its founder, head-scientist, supreme ball-player, and all round psychotic murderer met his end at the boot of a Beastman Rotter. Having expended an immense amount of energy regenerating from a near-death experience at the end of the previous match, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=5723485">Professor Drakenhöff</a> heroically took to the field despite not feeling altogether on top of his game. Stood in the backfield at the opening kick-off, the Professor was hit by a rock thrown by an unidentified Rotter's fan and stunned. Left at the mercy of Nuffle, the Professor stood no chance as a hole was blitzed in the line of scrimmage, whereupon he was surrounded and mercilessly gang-fouled into oblivion. His demise was not to prove in vain however, as, spurred on by their mentor's death, the rest of the School took the game to the foul Rotters, securing a <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=2274661">2-1 win</a> in one of the team's best performances to date. The Professor's immense, albeit brief, contribution to the game was honoured with the post-match MVP. R.I.P.
