Head Coach Stonefist of the Cryptic Humour's Eternal Gemstone Tour gave his two underlings permission to form an RRR team. Coach Johar and Elzebar the Gnome set forth to the Nordlands and put together a surprisingly competitive outfit. They blasted their way through the opening rounds of the RRR before Head Coach Stonefist took charge of the team for the final. The result? A sensational and unexpected win against a gnarly coach and a gnarlier Orc team.
Round 1 of the RRR. The Lightning debut. The lads storm this Khemri outfit and injure 2/0/4. They win 2-0 and secure 3 skillups. Zerker Bor Kastaskiari
Round 2 of the RRR. Jaarvic grind down this Chaos Dorf team with a 1/2/1 casualty rate. Lineman Herlaugr Arunda injures two in this game but lays down his life in the next match.
Semi-Final of the RRR. These dodgy Amazon girls look as if they might cause trouble. A mistake allows them the zons to take the lead, but the Lightning get it together and start removing women en masse late in the second. They go into the final with an OT win. Watch out for some brutal Lightning fouls (they make 9 in total). At the end of the game, there is one zon left on the pitch.
Final of the RRR. Fortune favours the Lightning here in a horrible Orc match-up with an abusive coach. Look out for hilarious 1d blocks, a 4+ dodge score, a 1d gfi 6 on a blitz and then a 6+ intercept to consign one team to misery and the other to providential glory. Runner Aran Drenðr becomes our second +1 AGI positional.
