Joining mid-season XII, the Arizona Sinners are introduced to the NFCW just before Week 7 as replacement for the Undercards. They were doing quite well with a 2-1-1 record so far. Round 5 and 6 were not being played.

Week 7: Arizona Sinners vs. New Angryland Bulltrots 1 - 2
The Sinners lost their premier in the NBFL against a team competing for a play-off placement. But it was a close battle and with a little more luck here and there, the Sinners could have stolen at least a draw. At least, the new team could give proof what to expect from them in the future.

Week 8: Arizona Sinners vs. In-Sane Louie Goats 1 - 0
A close game again. But this time, with the luckier end for the Sinners (It's good to be bad). The Sinners scored early and had to go through an ugly dozen turns of defense. But the Goats still lacking some crucial skills couldn't take advantage of their higher strength.

Week 9: Arizona Sinners vs. Ban Francisco Footy Fighters 2 - 1
In this game, the dominance of speed against strength was never challenged. The Orcs tried hard, but without tackle they just could get no hands on those damn fast rats. Nevertheless, they left some impression on the college draftee blitzer Taylor Henry (DE) #91 [OST] with a lethal turn 16 foul. In return, a turn 16 pick-up for the 3:1 failed, despite a re-roll for a 2+... Nuffle must have been impressed, too,

Week 10: Arizona Sinners vs. New York Giant Leeches 2 - 3
The result looks closer than the game was. An early blackout in Sinners' offense led to a constant struggle against the leeching hordes. The Vampys scored in turn 7, with no opportunity for a OTTD. Second half was more even and showed, what could have been possible if the first half's blackout had not occured. Nevertheless, the New York victory was never challenged.

Week 11: Dallas Dendrophiliacs vs. Arizona Sinners 1 - 2
Sinners started as the underdog, but with a little help from friends (Glart Smashrip Jr. and Dirty Sanchez, a Merc Dirty Player Lino) and not to forget Nuffle's blessing, Arizona took control of the whole show. Although there was the chance for Dallas to tie it up with their One-Turner, that just didn't want to go down / stay out. But again, Nuffle vetoed and the 2:1 victory was sealed. Nuffle gives...

Week 12: Arizona Sinners vs. Seattle SewerHawks 0 - 4
... and Nuffle takes! Almost the same in this one, but with the Sinners on the hurty end of Nuffle's paddle. Almost every crucial dice roll failed in this one, and with another / the other rat team opposing, it soon became very clear this is gonna end up in a MESSacre. Sinners also lost their second Quarterback Carson Palmer (QB) #3 for the rest of the season due to a smashed knee.

Week 13: Flashington Redheads vs. Arizona Sinners 2 - 3
Kind of an endgame for both teams. Flashington needed a victory to have a shot for the divisional title, Arizona had to win to stay in touch with the play-offs (by ending second best follow-up). Arizona started well with an early 2:0 lead, but was taking serious damage and therefore could not stop Flashington from scoring the 2:1 just with the halftime whistle. Second half saw Flashington score early, giving only 6 Sinners another shot (hoping the rats won't be able to take advantage of it). But Arizona with Larry Fitzgerald (WR) #11 scored again and sealed it.

Week 14: Philhala Arni vs. Arizona Sinners 0 - 2
Both teams had already booked their flights to Loserville (no playoffs), so it was a game of zero importance. The Sinners scored twice, therefore Philhala beat the shit out of the rats, but no losses but an unlucky Journeyrat. Next!

( 5 - 5 - 4 )

Week 1: Hearthstone Hexen vs. Arizona Sinners 2 - 1
Hearthstone new to the NBFL with a solid grind. Sinners sacked the ball carrier one or two times, but the dwarves managed to recover those balls and ran in their scores just in time. No casualties for the Sinners, so not a bad day after all.

Week 2: Arizona Sinners vs. Ban Francisco Footy Fighters 1 - 3
Three simple words: Too much strength! Sinners found no way to get on the highway, green roadblocks wherever they tried. Armour breaks sealed the deal very quickly (though no perms but a Rookie Gutter - happy retirement!).

Week 3: Arizona Sinners vs. Hacksonville Quagmires 3 - 0
Three simple words: Too much speed! Quaggies couldn't keep the pace of furious Sinners and therefore got steamrollered.
Thrower Eli Manning (QB) #10 lays the foundation, Gutters Larry Fitzgerald (WR) #11 and Leon Hall (CB) #29 wrap it up!

Week 4: Tennesse Titanz vs. Arizona Sinners 2 - 1
Titanz forcing the Rats to score early, then grinding down the road to a 2:1 victory. Sinners - with Smashrip Jr. in their ranks - didn't find a way to beat or at least equalize the Titanz' strength advantage.

Week 5: Arizona Sinners vs. Indianapolis Crypts 0 - 2
What a lesson in how to utilize your opponents AV7. 10 fouls brought the Sinners down pretty fast, some bad luck in
crucial dice did the rest to decide the match. But always look on the bright side: One step closer to an early draft pick.

Week 6: Arizona Sinners vs. Seattle Sewerhawks forfeit win

Round 7: Arizona Sinners vs. In-Sane Louie Goats 2 - 1
Sinners utilizing their speed with a defensive touchdown, but Goats scored with only seconds left on the clock.
2nd half saw rat clock management, successful offense and solid defense by Arizona. Important NFC West internal victory.

Week 8: Arizona Sinners vs. Green Ball Attackers 4 - 4
8 touchdowns, 4 on both sides. No missed passes or catchs, no tripped gfi's all over the match. All over the match?
Not all over the match! In the last turn, a missed throw ends what could have been a Sinners' OTTD for the win.

Week 9: In-Sane Louie Goats vs. Arizona Sinners 0 - 2
In the rematch the Sinners benefit from early multiple double skulls for the Goats from which they never could recover.
Defensive touchdown in the first half, followed by a more or less controlled offense in the second half. Easy victory.

Week 10: Arizona Sinners vs. Chicago Bear-ds forfeit win

Round 11: Detroilet Sewer Lions vs. Arizona Sinners 1 - 1
From the beginning Arizona was about to struggle over one or the other tentacles. Chicago blocked them rats hard and scored in defense, but Arizona showing morale grapped the ball for the equalizer just seconds before the end of the match.

Week 12: Minnesota Wolfkings vs. Arizona Sinners 2 - 2
AZ with a strong begin scoring early, Wolfkings struggle to a draw for halftime but loose the ball in 2nd half.
Sinners take advantage of it and score for another lead, which Minnesota is able to equalize once more.

Week 13: Seattle Weed Gawks vs. Arizona Sinners 2 - 2
Two completely opposite halfs. First one, AZ on the button beating the sh*** out of Elves, but Seattle draws.
Second half, Sinners pillow-block for nuts, while 5 Elves advance to score in turn 8. AZ ties it up with a OTTD.

Week 14: Ban Fran Footy Fighters vs. Arizona Sinners 1 - 1
Ban Fran with furious blocks forget to score in half 1. Sinners with a gianormous play score for the lead.
But Orcs can equalize in turn 8, because Sinners' Larry Fitzgerald (WR) #11 finds no POW with his block.

( 4 - 4 - 6 )

Week 1: Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Arizona Sinners 2 - 1
AZ Sinners start Season XIV with a Nuffle-driven loss. It was like rats running their heads against a wall.
There were several opportunities to turn the tables, but each time Nuffle interfered with all its cruelness.

Week 2: Cleave Land Brown Dawg Pound vs. Arizona Sinners 4 - 4
What a match! Both teams jump on the scoring train with 4 touchdowns for each side. But there's even more:
Blocks and tackles on either side, a total of 9 casualties, a wizard... That's family entertainment at its best!!!

Week 3: In-Sane Louie Goats vs. Arizona Sinners 2 - 2
Sinners score early and go into defense where they suffer badly but stop the Goats' scoring attempt last minute.
Second half sees In-Sane Louie score twice, but Sinners pull off a magical One-Turn Touchdown for the Equalizer.

Week 4: Arizona Sinners vs. Ban Francisco Footy Fighters 1 - 2
Damn Ban Fran... Damn NFC West... Damn NBFL... but most and for all: Damn Sinners! Can't f***ing win this year.

Week 5: Cincinatti Bludgeoners vs. Arizona Sinners 1 - 0
And now the Draftee's gone. Just when he got his spp for a skill (Guard on normal, Diving Tackle at Doubles),
he was fouled to death. Apo comes and Apo goes, but the Draftee remains dead. *Restart Blitzer building routine*

Week 6: Arizona Sinners vs. Seattle Weed Gawks 2 - 1
\o/ \o/ \o/ First victory in round 6... against the upcoming NFC West champions from Seattle. \o/ \o/ \o/

Week 7: Arizona Sinners vs. BeardyMoore Shavens 2 - 2
And a draw to close the first half of the season. 1 - 3 - 4 ... what a giant stack of grap and b#&%?sh/%$§t.

Week 8: Arizona Sinners vs. In-Sane Louie Goats 3 - 0
Rats are hot'n'dominating in 1st half from start to touchdown in turn 5. Then they even grap the ball to score in turn 8 again.
Second half sees In-Sane Louie loose the ball at Sinners' goal line, Old MacManning picks it up and runs it in for 90 yards.

Week 9: Gnawleans Stanks vs. Arizona Sinners 2 - 0
Nothing to win in this one. Stank starts in offense and Sinners do never get close to the ball. Turn 8 OTTD-attempt fails.
Second half Sinners loose the ball in turn 4 and Stanks run it in for the two touchdown lead. OTTD-attempt fails again.

Week 10: Ban Francisco Footy Fighters vs. Arizona Sinners 3 - 2

Week 11: Arizona Sinners vs. Seattle Weed Gawks 1 - 1

Week 12: Arizona Sinners vs. Atlatl 'n' Falchions forfeit win

Week 13: Arizona Sinners vs. Carolina Black Panther Party 2 - 3

Week 14: Arizona Sinners vs. Tampa Bay Charging Corsairs 3 - 1

Last Update: Post-Play-Offs Season XVI
Powered by Shraaaag's FUMBBL scripts.

As a mid-season expansion team, the Sinners were granted
4 picks from both NBFL draft board and NBFL expansion draft board.

As #1 draft pick, the Arizona Sinners choose Eli Manning.
Former New Khemri Giants Quarterback
with 118 Spp: Block, Dodge, Kick-Off Return, Leader, Fend.

This experienced player will take a lead role in Sinners' offense
and help the many young hotshots to live long and prosper.
Some say, he is already too old for a rough sport like Blood Bowl,
but we are sure he's good for another season... or more!

As #2 draft pick, the Arizona Sinners choose Brian Leonard.
Former Sandcinnati Running Back
with 47 Spp: Mighty Blow, Tackle, Piling On.

A solid player with some brute force in offense,
Leonard will teach all those who think Skaven are just
too weak for NBFL how damn wrong they are.

As #3 draft pick, the Arizona Sinners choose Leon Hall.
Former Cincinrati Bengals Cornerback
with 57 Spp: Side Step, Block, Nerves of Steel, Diving Tackle.

A multi talent both for offense and defense.
He can shut down receivers with ease, but also
is good for a quick counter attack, while
the opposing team still celebrates its touchdown.

As #4 draft pick Arizona chooses Taylor Henry.
Former Oregon State Bereavers Defensive End
with 24(/29)Spp: Guard, Tackle.

Taylor was drafted mainly for his great supporting strength
both in offense and defense. Although a young player,
this rat shows some potential to become a real big one.

As #19 draft pick Arizona chooses:
Kawika "Surf's up!" Ornellas.
Former University of Hawaii Cornerback
with 28 Spp: Dodge, Guard

This Hawaii graduate is a technically high developed player.
He will add depth to both offense and defense, if he can manage
to learn the basic skills that are needed to survive in NBFL.

Stabbem Chefcter and Kill Wiper Jr. rated this pick
with B+ in the NBFL Draft Review & Analysis Show.

As #16 draft pick Arizona chooses:
Gunther "War" Steiner.
Former Wisconsin Honeygrues Left Tackle
with 45 Spp: Dodge, Side Step, Tackle

The two-time National Champion with Wisconsin is hired for
his great ability to read the opposing team's game as well as
his indomitable will to protect the QB's blind side by all means.

Stabbem Chefcter and Kill Wiper Jr. rated this pick
with B in the NBFL Draft Review & Analysis Show.

As #12 draft pick Arizona chooses:
Trey "The Beast" DePriest.
Former Alabama Green Tide Linebacker
with 38 Spp: Tackle, +Ag, Mighty Blow

Another try with a college Blitzer: As agile as the standard Gutter Runner,
this Bama graduate will be a reinforcement both for offense and defense.
Furthermore he can throw blocks that take out opponents in the dozen.

Stabbem Chefcter and Kill Wiper Jr. rated this pick
with A in the NBFL Draft Review & Analysis Show.

As #8 draft pick Arizona chooses:
Da'Quan "The Bite" Bowers.
Former Clemson Terrors Defensive End
with 62 Spp: Guard, Block, +ST, BT

The Terror of Clemson and two-time All-American (Seasons 20 & 21)
was drafted to help stabilize Sinners' Defense. With enhanced strength
and block he can bind multiple opponents or shut down a side all alone
... if the coaching staff gets to control his somehow animal-like nature!

Stabbem Chefcter rated this pick with A+
in the NBFL Draft Review & Analysis Show.

As #28 draft pick Arizona chooses:
Vincent "White Backed Duck" Strongfire*.
Former Oregon Special Teamer
with 39 Spp: Dirty Player, Dodge, +ST

With no use for the team, this player was invited as "special guest"
to the Sinner's Dinner, the pre-season team banquet established
at the start of season 17. DT Frostee Rucker came up with the idea
... and there's absolutely no need to say who got the foul, right?
