Of all the Blood Bowl teams famous throughout the Old World who stand out, it is not the Orcs for their spectacular strength or the Elves for their gracious and lightning speed, but the humble humans. If there is one thing which can be said about Human teams is that they are adaptable. Among the countless human teams emerges the Middenheim Bruisers.

A tough and cut-throat team of n'er do wells, thugs and criminals, the Middenheim Bruisers was formed after watching a game between the Reikland Reavers and the Gouged Eye. Formed together by Head Coach Vimmy Vinkilson and a mysterious figure simply known as "Boss", the Middenheim Bruisers have burst into the Open Leagues with full gusto. Their intention is to win fame and glory among the fields of Blood Bowl.

Recently the team has been going through a bumpy round of matches which has caused some ire among the players. In desperation, Head Coach Vinkilson has signed a number of contracts and deals with Griff Oberwald who has promised he will feature occasionally for the team as he sees fit. So far he has carried the team on his back whenever he has appeared and the Middenheim Bruisers couldn't be more thankful. Griff himself continues to be paid handsomely and in fact managed to finally bag a win for the team during a rather poor streak.

Deckard the Experienced (now retired) has also integrated his learning to the team, teaching them the importance of guarding and looking out for one another in scrums. While difficult for most Blood Bowl players to compose themselves in a scrum, this too has proven to be invaluable to the teams performance in recent matches.
